It's funny how the new wii without gc support still has the plastic for gamecube ports. (first)

I thought that was interesting too. No use making a new mold for a piece that gets covered up anyway i guess!
The white Wii probably got dropped at some point causing the cap to bend like that. You don't need to replace the whole drive on the black one. Just the laser. The coin probably scratched it. Kids love sticking coins in Wii's. I don't know why.

I was thinking some kids were pressing the buttons too forcefully and over time they folded over a bit, dropping is a good explanation too. As for the laser, I don't think a replacement is much cheaper than a whole new drive last time I checked. Either way the cost to fix is pretty close or the same as just buying a working one, which makes it hard to justify using busted Wii's for anything other than parting out or modding.
the image on the coin is a scarab beetle. Looks like something from Egyptian iconography.

If you're comfortable partially disassembling until you get to that button it just needs a good cleaning with rubbing alcohol and that'll solve it.
My white Wii has the kinda same problem as the black one but I don't think that there would be something jammed in there as it was working fine and then I gave it a different game and then it just keeps pulling it in and out

Hard to say without getting a look on the inside. Hope you can get it working!
@FantasticQuack I hopeing that you could help me with this: my problem is that my 2ds says I’m pressing down the right bumper but I’m not and I hopeing you could help me?

Clean the button out from the inside and if no luck it needs a replacement as it sounds like an internal short. It's possible the connector or board has the problem but more often it's the button/switch itself

Thank you so much the funny thing is is that it’s been happening for a month now and out of nowhere it’s magically working now but now that I know this next time it happens I’ll do what you said but of course thank you
It would help a lot I’ve already fixed it before now it’s doing it again

I responded to your other shoulder button comment if this is the same thing
How much would it cost for me to send my broken 3ds with the screen popping problem to you so you can fix it
@FantasticQuack
Жыл бұрын
Probably more than just buying another used/working unit, particularly if the screen needs to be replaced. It always depends on the problem which I don't have details on so feel free to check my channel info and email me if you want to discuss further.
hey can you show how to fix the D pad for a ps vita 1000

I'd love to but haven't found a unit with that problem yet. If/when I come across it I'll make a vid for sure.
Fun fact: You can use a pair of lit candles as a sensor bar

I actually did that to get the image at 9:46 :) One of those 3-wick candles from bath& body works, just lit two of them, worked perfectly.
