A tale of two stoves.

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Not a review or a comparison but a chat about two stoves I have. One I use regularly and the other I bought after my accident so haven't used yet. Both have similar burners but different pot stand solutions.
I bought both these stoves myself and was not offered either product to review. All opinions and comments are my own.

The Wikatech looks good. I mind forem a while I always used gas when Robin used speedsters. Now I would never go back to gas. I got the border raider cook kit last year. Has a carbon meths burner compared to the normal burner. Not noticed a difference. Meant to be more efficient & quicker I think. I should really do a wee timing test.

Im not that bothered about the speed bit I'm looking forward to trying out the wika in the wild. I like it can take bigger pots and is stable. Just don't like the metal wind plates. Isn't Stripey doing a burner? I know he makes his own and heard he was doing a Kickstarter or something. I don't think the carbon felt makes a difference but I do like the mesh on the top.

@@BrokenBackMountains Am the same with speed. I just wondered the difference between the carbon meths burner and the other one speedster do. Aye Stripey is doing a cone thing. Like the old stormin normin

I'll have to to do a head to head once I'm out and about and see if the material makes a difference. Most of the carbon ones don't have mesh on them. The larger size is good if you have a frypan or bigger pot.
