@snakelared I had the same thought but Will's relationship with his mother was very special, Diana taught him everything about love and she told him if you find something that you need to hold onto it and really think before you act which I think is why he waited so long. I can see both sides of the story of why he did give her the ring and possibly why he shouldn't have. Most engagement rings are passed down anyway right?

I know this seems uncaring and even unthinkable but had Diana, Princess of Wales, had just kept quiet about what was going on with Charles and Camilla and been the dutiful wife, she may have been alive today. I know she wanted her marriage to be that of the polar opposite of that of her parents, she may have come out on top, in being "Another Queen Alexandra." Fate may have taken care of Charles early on, as it had King Edward VII, in 1910. She would be widowed and free to remarry. The boys, William and Harry would have their mother with them in Westminster Abbey and St. George's Chapel, Windsor. If, If, If, If, If.........It really could have worked out in her favour. She really was a wonderful, Beautiful, English girl, who just wanted everything to work. I think we can all agree on that! 🇨🇦
