I caught the riff from I'm Just a Comet, I'll have to back and catch the others. Somebody pointed out in another comment that ALL of Greg's songs are in the full version of Let's Duet, which was cut except for the bit they show in the film.

Man, Greg must be super strong if he can lift Steven with one arm that way, especially considering he is 16 at the time of the movie.

"Change" is absolutely amazing

@OCDean I like the song because it's catchy and I relate to Sadie in a lot of different ways. Plus I thought a symphonic metal cover of the song could've been great. A song doesn't have to be that deep and complex to be a good song that people can appreciate.

OCDean I like the song because it was a good attempt to kinda poke fun and generic garbage. I think generic music is kinda a theme for Sadie’s music, they are a rock band after all, it’s what I would expect from them.

You can really tell that Aimee Mann helped compose Drift Away with the addition of the drums and electric guitar. Like something you'd hear her & her band playing in the Bronze. XD

This movie should be shown in theaters again, change my mind.

_Drift Away_ is so much happier in this version than in the film. It’s nice, like some melodramatic tune playing in a lounge instead of a depressing _When She Loved Me_ style tear-fest.

There’s only one way I can sum up the joy and nostalgia - ‘I can’t believe we’ve come so far’.

I remember listening to the first one on an airplane flight and it was the only thing keeping me sane on the vacation with my annoying cousins following that flight. 5 years later and now this tribute is helping me get through the toughest parts of my life. Thanks for the memories!

(That was sarcasm; I really, REALLY don’t like Future as an end to SU due to how it felt like it crapped all over Steven’s character and the themes of the original series; ergo, I don’t consider it canon)

As a total music nerd, I had some interesting internal reactions while listening to this: During Other Friends: nice and jazzy, cool... WAIT IS THAT MUTED TRUMPET?!? ... oh no, those string glitzes... Through Let's Duet: oh, I caught that Let Me Drive My Van Into Your Heart ... uh-oh, here comes the brass ... did they... NO WAY THEY SUBBED GUITAR 2 FOR TRUMPET!!! During Independent Together: oop, both verses, just different instruments, nice chorus, OH NO WHAT IS THIS SOLO *a moment later: AND THE BARI SAX --- AND TROMBONE!?! WHAT IS THIS?!? After a while, my sensory overload died down, but WOW, good job with arranging this! POV: You read the whole thing

ahhh this is amazing!!!! and.. based on that episode of Back at The Barnyard where they parody The Beatles, Spinel's triangle-playing would be quite important to the band actually! (I don't know instruments I'm just trying to see if anyone else remembers that show and made that connection somehow)

Now THAT is the perfect example of what Other Friends would have sounded like in a 1930's rock band!
