A Super Metal Detecting Adventure
Ойын-сауық
Please join me on this little adventire out on the river exploring and searching for historical relics. I didn't know what I might find but was very happy with how the hunt turned out. Civil War relics are found!
About Aquachigger:
I enjoy metal detecting for historical items like gold coins, relics, silver coins, and other buried treasures. I also metal detect for gold and silver nuggets and even meteorites. I like to make videos that promote my choice of lifestyle that includes outdoor adventure,
metal detecting, yapping, searching for river treasure, SCUBA diving, exploring abandoned places, hiking, caving, caring for animals and pets, and observing the things outdoors that often go unnoticed by most people who are not familiar with outdoor adventures and nature. I keep my KZread "Aquachigger" channel family-friendly and hope you subscribe if you like my style.
BTW, you can also catch me here, / chiggsarmy ,but I may get a little edgier there. FB isn't a place for kids anyway...lol.

Chig, you're really incredible. I mean, looking at just how rugged that landscape is, and noting how small those bullets are, it's so impressive that you're able to find them - like finding needles in a haystack made of water and sharp rocks. If it's there, he's gonna find it! LOL
Another excellent relic recovery adventure by Chigg, a man with a brass bung, old dog and a wobbly kitten. Much respect.
Love watching these vlogs. Love all the Civil War bullets.

absolutely! the drops were fine on their own but the two pistol bullets stuck together were one of "those" finds. that just shows you how much practice they had with their firearms. hope the river clears up soon. that place is pretty nice! Thanks for sharing Beau.

Awesome place....glad to see you found your pick! :)
Awesome site! I bet there's a few buckles and plates hiding around there! The river relic vids are always my favorite.
Best way to spend 20 minutes at the end of the day
Great video. Thanks for saving our history and especially taking me with you. From Ohio.
Outstanding hunt Mr. Chiggles. Can't wait until you revisit this spot.

@@MrScottgp not every river but a lot. people used them for everything from dumping their trash, fishing, trading, traveling, etc. research is your best bet to find out how long the river has been in use
I've always loved archaeology, which is why I enjoy this channel. Mr. Chigg's enthusiasm is always contagious as well. It won't be much longer, and I'll go ahead and buy a metal detector, probably just like the one Chigg uses. Cheers!

He really does have a way of making you want to learn more about the colonial era and recover some of those lost relics. Every piece is like filling in more of the story of those lives and events.
The Fantastical Mister Chigg.
Hi beau glad you doing longer vids id watch em if they were twice as long lol
Flies are fun when You have time. Thanks for taking us along.
I love the chewed bullet. Squirrels do that. Nice video. Happy place and I thank you.
That's a pretty good haul there, Chigg. Lots of good bullets and a neat bottle
S Awesome finds today chigg. This looks like an awesome place to spend the day checking for those civil war camps. Im sure there are lots of relics that are just waiting to be uncovered up on those Banks. Great video. An congrats on all your finds today. Have an awesome weekend. An we will catch you on your next adventure. 😁👍👍
Hey Chig! We really appreciate your Knowledge and your enthusiasm ! Thank you.
"Where did you find your civil war bullet?" In Da Watah. lol nice adventure chigg
30 yrs ago, i woulda went straight up that rock face. Not now! LOL
Watch out for the beaver, Chigg!
Loved that little brown bottle.
Love your river digs. Hold your breath 😂
Thanx Chigg for another great AQUACHIGGER ADVENTURE
Chigg's hard as nails, even uses rocks for knee pads, and fought off a rabid beaver, but Canadian geese still send him scampering though. 😁
Love the kids sized beer bottle...lol
Time to get back in the creeks! Hot as hell in NOVA today, cheers Chigg!
As I’m watching from Missouri, I am envious? Well, itching to be in a location like where you are! I haven’t ever (that I know of) been in a Civil War era location. I have found an infantry button, but I found it in front of a home built in 1910 and adjacent to an War of 1812 cemetery. That is all I know. Chig, your water hunts and knowledge are incredible! Thanks for sharing!

Awesome one Beau! Lots of cool finds.
A big thumbs up 👍
Beautiful shale formations!
Hello nice to see you have found your pick again. Bernard France;
I love the long videos!!
I haven't watched I quite a while. It's good to see you are still at it and you haven't bled out on a trail somewhere.
I love your river trips. Watching you dig is so relaxing :)
Thank you for taking us along 👍
You gotta love the water, so cool thinking something eroded from those banks ,the story It can tell from on top ,just awesome, fun to watch.
LOL geese rattling the brush ... brings back the mad Beaver attack. Great day on the river like the brass plug, reminds me of transmission drain or fillers and of course barrels too.
When Jackson took a little trip... ;)
Thanks for the video Chigg.
You’re living the dream! I look forward to many more videos!
That absolutely was a super video. Awesome Chigg.

Good one, my friend!
Haven't watched TV for four years. Turned it on today and saw you in River Hunters! Loving it. Couldn't believe it was you when it came on. Well done! Nice to see you here in the UK
Awesome video and really cool finds especially the dropped mini balls including the sharps and the hem weights.
Awesome adventure chigg
Oh my goodness.right out of Gone with the wind! A hem weight! I've read about them never seen one! Ladies of that time had so much fortitude! Heavy skirts and petticoats and tight shoes and corsets to endure...and hem weights too!!and soldiers had them sewn into jackets?
Fantastic video Chigg!
Excellent post 💚💚👍👍
Hi Chigg! Well .... Not a bad days hunt! You found goodies both on shore and in the River .... Also, some good prospect areas for the next trip there! A pretty good Diggin' Day! Till next time ..... Have A Good Day!!!
Couple hundred years ago at that exact spot...a person may have feared for their life for many reasons, soliders, natives....the Chigg fortunately only has to fear canadian geese!
What about a episode up on top of the bank, where you found the first bullet on the ground/rocks? Maby a campsite up there. Greetings from Denmark
Interesting hunt - really enjoyed this one.
Good morning from Southeast South Dakota
Great video Chigg
Thanks again Chigg 😁 👍
They popped out like a herd of rabid beavers!!!
@Aquachigger hey chiggs :) for in the future when you find those hem weights near a body of water. “Ladies were known to sew weights into the hem of their smock-like bathing gowns to prevent the garment from floating up and showing their legs” . They also used them on the bottom of dresses too. Loved the hunt :)
Good vid Cigg.
Great video, awsome finds. Somehow the Canadian pennies seemed out of place and time for that area. Very odd for them to be there. Finds are finds. Thanks Chigg 👍
Chigg, I hope you have permission to go up on the bluff of that shear rock face where you were pulling bullets from! I wanna go with you if you do!
In Civil War battles, it was not uncommon for bullets to collide in mid-air. The museum in Petersburg VA has examples of such collisions.
Amazing detects undervwater
Thanks for the vid.
Hey! River janitor, pick that up.
Chiggs you had an awesome day.
That brass "bung screw top lid thingy" looks like a plug for swimming pools. Use them to plug the jets when pools are closed for winter.
funny start !!!!!
nice bullet day. Bet that field above pays off. Might be some fossils hiding in that shale too
Nice spot!!! Mashed bullets are so cool. If they could only tell you there story!
If someone asks for a sip of beer, hand 'em that shrimpy brown bottle. Nice new pick without a magnet I see. Damn. ✌ 😃
Chigg, we don’t have pennies anymore in Canada so it is a recent relic Great hunt with lots of finds
I recently found a very small what looks to be gold gilted button that said "Rich colour" on one side and a small eagle with its wings spread on the reverse. I'm not sure but I believe these buttons were very popular when Andrew Jackson was president and are commonly referred to as Jacksonian
Fantastic 😀
Chiggs 🤘👍🏼🍺
Hey Beau I think you're half dollar from 1816 is counterfeit due to the US Mint burnt down that year and no capped bust half dollars were minted that year. Oh well, nice boolits !

The Civil War paid a visit to my town and damaged or destroyed every building in La Vergne, TN. Both sides met up in force 15 miles down the road in Murfreesboro where they slugged it out for a couple of days. I keep saying I need to metal detect the creek behind my house but I haven't gotten around to it yet.
What a great spot! Maybe you'll get on some buckles and plates from the civil war!
Flying Beavers!!! Ruuuuunnnnn!!!!
Pretty little worn out river bend!
At about 16.00, you were complaining about something in the air making you cough/sneeze. You were under a Sycamore tree... The mealy powder on the back of the leaves makes me cough and sneeze something fierce. I'd bet that's what was getting to you, too. Fun hunt though. Looking forward to your next vid!
