    Mae West home was simply beautiful! She owned several homes in Hollywood before she purchased her apartment building, where she lived for over 50 years. Do one of her apartment buildings Nice tour!. 👍

    She never actually purchased the Ravenswood building. She lent the owners money because they were having financial problems but they had to agree to her terms of letting African Americans into the Ravenswood. That was because a friend of Mae's wasn't allowed in the building because he was African American, boxer William Jones who went by Gorilla Jones. They remained good friends till Mae died in 1980.

    MW didn’t arrive in LA until 1932, she’d have had no need of a LA home in 1925.

    This house was not originally built for Mae West in 1925. Miss West didn't come to Los Angeles until 1932 and purchased an already built house several years later. Get your facts right
