A Strong Family - Dr. Charles Stanley

Even though God created the family, there are no perfect families. It is very difficult to raise a strong family in today’s culture. It takes hard work and commitment. A strong family is one in which the members are bound together in a pledge of love and devotion to one another.
Dr. Stanley outlines the characteristics that define a strong family and teaches us how we can keep solid relationships, even if the family is broken. Trusting God and having a personal relationship with Him becomes more important than ever.
This message is part of the series "Strong: Church, Family, Life."

6 kids here I come, My mother raised me right, she was a super attenative mother. Always there for my and my 3 brothers as a mother should. I thank God for my mother because she taught me most about the Lord, this life, making it, and family. My mother would always instill wisdome in me. Church is good, but it is a lifestyle, daily weekly day n and day out. My mother taught me most. A good church really does help. But obey God, submit to him, read his word, and do his will.

That just gave me so much inspiration as a mother. I have two children, ages 1 and 5. I listen to Christan music that they love to sing I read scriptures with them and have children study plans with them and I'm extremely loving but also a very strict parent. I wondered was I doing right by them. And I see KZread videos of children's of my youngest age singing rap songs and other ungodly things. After reading this from your perspective gives me insight on how's much my own children see me. I thank God for you sharing that it really helped me in other ways you have no idea. Much love from Vegas

Hi Chloe, your intentions are awesome. But you should say, if the Lord wills I will live, I will have children, I will have a husband. We don't know what awesome things God has for us, we don't know if we will have children or wives or husband. But if He has called us whatever we have or don't is up to His discretion and for our good.

Keep strong in your storm not hitting ship wreck but enduring to the end with faith unfeigned and perseverance to grow in maturity through your trials and tribulations. The enemy is clever to say things to get you to question against God in ignorance and in hatred in the mind. The most dangerous thing is when the devil tempts you to doubt and to drain your endurance as well as your courage and confidence. Idk where your at now with him in this walk for God has so many enemies and people lacking the understanding of ambiguities and reasoning with God's ideas. For the ungodly disagree with God and wax worse and worse deceiving and being deceived because they don't not understand the instructions to get them through this life. The way of life is instruction (I figured out what this meant when I start to learn how to cook lol too many rules)the word of God is your guide book and the rules to follow to live a strong and secure lifestyle not lacking anything if acting as a faithful follower who is a doer of the word and not only a hearer. If you ever encounter an atheist or whatever antichrist may come your way send them this video. Yes they will tell you these very things No evidence, contradictions,God is evil and the serpent is the good guy, your ignorant of history and you worship el which is baal doctrine, theirs so many God's with a virgin birth what makes yours the only truth compared to theirs, why did God create such a mess, and the list goes on and on. Your not alone once you have to defend your faith. The devil is clever to blind you outside and inside the faith but once you are a man who denys himself and walk gracefully and humbly. Renewing your mind and dividing the truth from the lies it will be clear to you that you have a strong foundation and that God is keeping your foot from stumbling even if the wicked prosper they still stumble like a flower in the field that dies.

My mom blessed me at the age of about 2, or 3. And the fact I remembered this, shows how important it was.. but I remember my mom teaching me about how satan was kicked out of heaven. Because he was Jealous of GOD. and wanted to be as powerful as him.. after that. I remember feeling this connection to GOD. I always had him in my mind, and even prayed as a little girl. And by myself.. I was even in foaster care for 2 yrs, 5 till 7. So being the Lord allowed my mom to plant that seed, got me through that trial. Because the lord knew that wasnt my fight. But he allowed me to grow subconsciously because he knew in the future it will be beneficial for my greater good. And in these days I have a connection to our father. And I feel so honoured he blessed me to know him as the true GOD he is... Jesus is OUR LORD 🙌🙌🙌💛🥰🙏

Read bible verse everyday. Pray on your knees to humble yourself. Read a story from bible to children at bedtime after tuck them in and then have them kneel at edge of bed with you and pray a prayer from their heart. Develop the habit and child will go back to it when in trouble. Teach them to depend on God.

Hold on to JESUS. He is the rock. Takes 5 years to get over a death. First year hardest. Give yourself permission to grieve and cry and cry at the wall. Will not operate correctly for a long time. See any book called FIVE stages of Grief or some such title. A loss we all go through. The first year cry and cry. Stare at the wall. IS normal. Need to do this to get to next stage. 2nd year easier. 3 year much better than first and second. God Bless. She is in a better place and watching you. Live well for her and make her proud in Jesus. Pick the JESUS path. Remember he wept also. God Bless.

Wow what a powerful sermon. I absolutely adore and LOVE DR. STANLEY... God please bless him and his family forever. I know Jesus has a chair right next to him when he's called back to heaven. I wish everyone EVERYWHERE could be touched by Dr. Stanley. I just pray I get to meet him here and in heaven. He is so special. It's like you forget it's him speaking and God comes right through him and then directly right through you/me. I hope he knows how special he really is to all of us. I pray for Dr. Stanley. Since his stepping down to co chair I pray he gets to do the things he enjoys before he's called home and his health stays intact. That will be the saddest day on 🌎 with the only saving grace being those of us that are surrendered and believe Jesus is our savior, means we can also rejoice knowing we'll see him again in heaven... Nevertheless I pray for his health and his wellbeing. I can't imagine a world w/o him in it. But man did he do God's work the right way. Amen thank you God because u might not read KZread but I know you are with me in my prayers and thoughts. God be with us all.

My youngest son Thomas James is in prison and I don't drive because I have cataract problems eyes. And glaucoma poor vision. And the other son who is mute autistic was stolen from me by greedy group home people who won't let me visit him. The courts have let them do this but it's lies. I know he was well with me. But he has been very sick and had surgery since they took him away so I know it's not good. But God knows and will help us somehow. I feel alone and not got money so poor people are easy to bully by certain rich people and groups that benefit to exploit. Well God knows everything. Please pray for my son Timothy. Thank you all for prayers. God bless everyone be saved in Jesus christ our savior name amen. God is coming back soon.

Instead of using the accomplishments of others as a stepping stone utilize your God given talents to succeed in the way it can only be appropriate for you and yours! Moving forward is the way of the righteous, living in the past only causes your present to form a void leaving your self in limbo.
