The new battlecruisers look quite promising. 15 inch guns means it can support your battle line while the 6 inchers are ideal for pecking at smaller targets. Still, the opponents' heavy cruisers are gonna be tricky to tackle, given their resilience as witnessed in previous episodes. For that, you may want to devise a different solution, or maybe resurrect the concept of a small, nimble battlecruiser with 12 inch main battery which is ideal for the job.

Next campaign idea. Meme American Big Iron battle ships. Biggest gun possible but only single turrets Cruisers and destroyers follow Daka Daka military strategy. As many guns as possible smaller the better Avoid torpedoes as much as possible due to Mk 14

I think a naval abominations campaign would be fun. You’re only allowed to use the “bad” hulls like the coastal defense cruiser hull. As well as wing turrets everywhere and just ugly ships.

The British used to build ships somehow similar to your 16" BC. They were called "R" class - vide Renown and Repulse. However, your countryman where wise enough to give them 15" mains, yet silly enough only 4" secondaries...in triple mounts. One of the kind ;-P.

The Renown’s were a fair bit faster at 32 knots but way less armoured with a measly 6” belt

@@BrotherMunro Honestly, they remind me more of the planned 15" Scharnhorsts, just a few years earlier. Fast for their time, armored like a battleship, just missing a turret.

I've seen you have a lot of success with 9-inch heavy cruisers. Not criticizing, but wondering why the last couple of campaigns you're sticking with 8's.

In DIP v2 you get access to higher marks of 8 inch guns before (sometimes long before) the 9 inchers, especially in the interwar period. Currently I have mark 3 8” but only mark 2 9”

Allies won't help if they aren't at war with the country.

How do we get the developers to stop "updating" the game and ruining the mods... They arent improving anything.
