I had to watch this for a school assignment, and I'm not going to lie, when I first clicked and saw 11 minutes of content I had to watch, I was not looking forward to it. To my surprise, it actually ended up being really good and interesting, and I enjoyed it.

Pierre de Coubertin also invented the sport Modern Pentathlon in order to create the perfect athlete: fast, strong, persistent, able to work with animals and combat others. It derives from the legend of a brave soldier that hat to master running, swimming, shooting, fencing and riding to complete his mission.

...Yet, because a female German coach tapped a horse's rump at Tokyo, 2021, this sport has now been destroyed. After a couple of more years, they will terminate the equestrian portion (after 2024); never mind that Coubertin invented this sport to emulate the skills needed by the exemplary cavalryman. (They've already eliminated the real pistols and replaced them with laser pistols; In 1988 they changed the cross-country horse race for show-jumping -- and now have eliminated horses altogether. ...It's dead now; turned into a joke.)

Michael Phelps was a swimmer most nations don't really check for that sport. Didn't hear you mention Carl Lewis the greatest Athlete of the 20th century or the great Jesse Owens. Nobody other elites thinks the best talent is in swimming.
