This is probably the most unique and creative Roblox horror game out there. It is quite unfortunate that its hidden story is pretty generic. I'm sorry but the whole souls being trapped in a video game has been done so many times already that I wish this game's lore was something a little more unique.

In the bad ending, they are never at peace. The souls (helpers) will never escape now that you died and they said they are only at peace when they escape.

QUICK CORRECTION: Despite not having played the game myself, I found a subtle change from very easy to easy from Kreekcraft's stream, which is the fact that the environment gets slightly darker and the music slows down just a little. This is very subtle, and I am not surprised that you were unable to catch it. Kreek's girlfriend, Kayla (whom he was playing the game with), couldn't catch that it had happened. It appears to be the most subtle transition in the game. Also, another possible connection between FNAF and ASO (a stereotypical obby) is the VR headset at the end.

I honestly had no idea what to expect when playing this. I was "Okay, I am really bad at obbies, but that 15 second video said it was easy. Maybe I should give it a try?" I went with a bunch of random people, and got more scared as the game further progressed. 10/10 game. Would play again.

Honestly I found the game super boring, but it was kind of fun to piece the corrupted levels

Stage 10 is the first stage that changes the music and lighting (its only extremely slight), not 20. The character waving at you is not only at Stage 40, it's based on RNG. You probably either didn't notice it at first or you had extreme bad luck of not seeing your character before 40. Also, you didn't explain the chase sequence (or, the point where you feel you're being chased) where the screen is a bit red and the camera shaking along with a loud buzzing sound. As you progress to the next stage, you will see a purple figure at your exact position. Maybe explain that?

the same thing that happened to me happened to you, i was playing with a friend on the extreme difficult, we were racing, then i went to check discord and came back into "WHY DID YOU TAB OUT," which scared the hell out of me to be honest, this game is rather interesting, since me and my friend that it was just a simple goofy difficulty chart obby, but dang were we wrong, we did get some funny scares out of it, but we didnt notice or make any theories on this, but playing this blindly is one hella experience.

Not sure if you mentioned this but if you get to any stage that is considered difficult and wait for a sec (or tab out for a long time) then a purple figure will appear behind/in front of you with a loud noise before disappearing. Just wanted to point that out. Have a good day!

Heres one thing you have missed: i actually brightened the 3 keyframes of the ending, and the 2nd one is the one you missed, its a wide shot of the place with on the wall, theres text saying “Juxtaposed Technologies”, and the meaning of juxtaposed is actually putting two things and blending them together, this might refer that the player/ creator is trying to blend the game and reality together (maybe) and he’s gonna need souls for that (probably), i just called that out so you would see that you missed something, when the good ending comes out i suspect you might use this information to judge if we are good or are the souls prisoners and their family trying to break out and somehow end up in the machine, just a thought. (Btw great video! I’d also like to help research on the good ending with you when it comes out.) EDIT:alright, i see you already covered the juxtaposed technologies thing but not the meaning, but i dont mind. Anyways, i have a mini theory on why he’s doing this (the creator), remember those train tracks? It might have crashed with him and his family onboard! Yes, what im saying is that it’s every indie villians backstory! Heartbreak! And you know what he’s going to do? Bring his family back to life!! Thats why its called juxtaposed-technologies! Hes trying to put them in the game and juxtapose reality and the game so they can live on.but he OF COURSE needed test subjects, so thats why there are angry spirits,and i believe the secret fnaf world thingy helper is the vengeful spirit of this game, i mean, it gives revenge vibes, sooooooooo we just gotta wait for the good ending!

A Stereotypical Obby is easily one if my favourite horror games on the platform. its so much more than the mindless jumpscares and chase scenes that are essential to many other horror games.

My theories: -This was an obby slowly turning into the player’s past (Jail, Buildings, Riots) -We got killed by our own creation (Obby and the Monster) -We were a Game Tester (VR Headset at ending cutscene)

What if we weren't the creator the victims(helper) assumed that it was us we were just a tester the creator has ran away and did more of these (result in someone death trap them in a videogame make an innocent person takes the blame) like a good old William afton but I want to see more of the creator life and perspective of all this why did he do it? Was he truly evil? Maybe he has an origin story of some sort that made him go insane but hey thats just a theory a game theory!

This is what roblox games should be. They should try some experiments and should get inspirations from good and classic games! and I love how the people in the special thanks credits was the creator of FNAF(aka Scott Cawthon)!

I really love how unique this game is, I wouldn't even have know it was a horror game until I saw the flashing lights warning! I was wondering when the jumpscares would show up, but I had to leave my laptop for a second. And, I tabbed out. I literally got jitters for a couple minutes before I could calm myself down

this is literally my new favorite game. every time i play it i feel like i discover something new.

I also tried just now, at the big room with the red squares on the walls, you can't get past it. There's probably a way to do it.

I once played that with a friend and it started glitching midway. Like all I could see were red flashes and glitches on the floor and loud glitching noises while my friend sees red and black swirls everywhere, her screen was shaking very violently that it was nearly impossible to see/ move. There is also two other games after the obby and I recommend playing them as it is very fun and it teaches us a very important lesson..

Personally, this might not be related to the story, but sometimes people are stubborn and don't step on the respawn plate "to wait" while the last player is still struggling on some lava jumps or something. This can take a long, long time of just waiting around.

You can also note if you played FNAF: world before, its similar how the deeper you go in the flipside, the closer you are to going to a restricted place you arent meant to be.

In case you don’t know, the language for the jumble of words uses Base64 which is a common code in some horror games.

I actually fell for this game bc I was bored last night. Going in without having any idea about this game was so much fun. I was on edge when things started to change lmao.

The fact a special thanks to Scott Cawthon in the credits already tells you that it has a horror aspect in it

I think there is more lore to the game, it is made from the same creator. The starting screen from Stereotypical Obby where it says play, credits, and other, there are two games one called Repleh County Archives and Repleh County Archives 2 (which is the newest one) when you decide to join those games from Stereotypical Obby it says, “before you join make sure you already played Stereotypical Obby” could be it will go a bit more into detail into the lore if I am correct.

you can find a game called "experiment 0" where you have to keep the "helper" contained by using lights sounds and shocks, kind of like in fnaf 5. then, you have to complete the stereotypical tycoon which shows the place you work at. when you do, you have to "investigate the trespasser" then fire alarms sound and you leave in your van. there is also a game called "hallways". in the tycoon, you have to enter a code on a pad, and you get this creepy recording of you driving off in the van and crashing. now, your workplace sends in a task force to help you. in experiment 0, you have to enter a very specific code which will stop the helper entirely and take you to a room with a crt and a tape. playing the tape shows the workplace recruitment video and you learn the truth. you killed them and now the workers have to keep them contained.

There is a connection to another horror game that I saw, it is Andy’s apple farm if you have heard of it basically the person you play as “Andy” killed people and trapped them in his game, just a little connection I saw.

Btw if you wait really long and die a lot there is a event where the screen begins shaking and turns red and distorted

There is *ONE* entity that might appear in your gameplay. When you encounter it, there is an statitis sound, like an VHS. When you hear it, turn around and look straight at it to make it disappear. If not, the screen will flash red and it will take 50% of your health. I encounted it during my first time playing this game, lol.

I thought the ‘models’ were gravestones when I first played the game…

I feel a bit bad now... That I kept pushing onwards because "I'm not going to be a coward this time!" ...Yeah so I got the bad ending first playthrough. I also did it by myself, completely alone. No other players, which was probably pretty stupid in hindsight.

Pretty cool game, although I already knew what was coming for me because I saw the genre. Anyways while I was playing it wasn't too scary, I was just blindly playing it. I was expecting some kind of scary thing to be walking towards me tryna kill me cuz those things really kill me up. Although after a while of playing it there wasn't so instead I just had a fun experience with a random group :D.

I would also like to discuss the prelude to the game , called Repleh County Archives. In the game you play as a child who was home alone a day before his birthday. It was late at night and your parents left a box for you to open when they got home at 12 am (stated by a note they left). while waiting , you hear an alert coming from the TV from the government stating multiple fugitives had escaped and were on the run. This is when multiple police cars race across the street. After a long while , you hear a beep that is coming from the box left by your parents. When you open it , you discover a VR headset. This is when someone or something breaks into your home. You turn off the lights and hide. After remembering the gun you kept in your closet, you slowly walk to it. After taking the gun, the person or thing is in your room , and you are left in the closet hiding. After it leaves , you walk out and you clear your room. You attempt to go upstairs but as you open the door you see a figure with glowing eyes and it shoots you with a shotgun. My theory is that the child which you play as is the helper, the one which welcomes you first and foremost.

I reached stage 35 before i quit. I saw a weird static figure literally next to me..looking at me. as soon as i looked at it, it was gone. the leaderboard also seemed to be changing and i could recall someone managing to join and quit my game. even though i was the only one in the lobby. Literally the creepiest obby on roblox.

I kinda saw the story as us who died as a soldier and going through hell reexperiencing the unforgivable wrongdoings we've done in a war that broke out but i guess this changes that

If you suddenly hear a loud glitching sound, spin your character around and face the purple static, if you don't find it in time, that's what makes the screen red and glitchy

I have played this game before, I have never seen the other line like "why you are created here" etc, it is a pretty cool and terrifying at the same time. This is really an example from every OBBY ever, I think this is the best horror game I have ever seen. For now.

probobaly the thing you said but the creator of the game gets test subjects to test the game and when the test subjects take off the vr they get killed

I literally played this without any prior knowledge of what was in it, So it caught me off guard when all the horror stuff was happening. Definitely a great experience.

there are actually mini games and in one, the doors(I call the mini game like that) where our character is trying to get out by ttrying to open the door and as it progresses it gets more darker and our character at some point starts banding on the door while guilt messages appear. At one point you see someone sitting infront of the door and there is a message "Im so sorry, *Kid*" the the someone disappears and in the end our character likely in drown with the guilt and then we are back in the obby.

This is a very good game I’m gonna try to play it! Here’s some good games like this you can play 1. Egg Kevin’s house 2.the night shift experience 3.clock in 4.panik 5.the grave yard experience Hope those can help you find fun games to play!

The waving avatar looks at the camera, at you irl, not the player. I don't know what that would mean, but it is an interesting detail I noticed.

There’s also some Easter eggs I found out! On the difficult part, if you stay still for a while or get stuck on an obby, two things can happen: 1: Your camera will shake and the world will get a more trippy red and black effect 2: a human like figure made of particles will appear behind you and disappear when you see it

the spirit seemed to be following me always like when i tried to backtrack or if i didnt look behind my back a lot

This game actually scared me. Im looking forward for more ending or contents this is so good

I played with a random player, and in the middle of the obby they said: "…" "..we must finish what we started." Im assuming the game made them say this, because they were almost entirely silent the entire game, and wouldn’t answer when I asked about it. What this could mean for the story? Idk

THIS!!!!! This is scritching my itch for another game (series) called Nullxiety but its also very VERY unique from Nullxiety, sure the plot isn't too unique as a whole but how it shows that plot is HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLY- sure its not scary to me (minus the audio cuz im generally sensitive to audio) but its beautiful. i love it. mein gott.

The REAL story starts in the office tycoon. We escape and that's it right? There's more to this in the hallways. It continues behind the wall behind you. It's a door in the distance that shows the player still driving, when suddenly hears a helicopter shooting the car down. After you luckily survive, you also get shot down being caught. In experiment 0, you enter a code that leads to a secret room with a TV that plays nothing but advertisement of the government. The setting seems familiar from the secret in the office. But in the bad ending, you find yourself IN THAT ROOM, greeted by nothing but the entity. (I just thought of this theory from the true ending)

i think just the base concept of it is more creepy than "ohh fake soul be trapped in our game hehe" you go through normal generic done-before stuff until you reach darkness and insanity, and then the last parts (40-50 i believe) its like you lost everything, you just submit, and then 50+ is you doing it over and over, with nothing to lose, your soul is lost and you only have roblox obbies to keep you doing anything at all

This game is just perfect,

My game crashed when It said where I lived- I was being like “erm chat is this real”. Also I deadass thought this was just a fun obby. I played with my friend but as soon as I got to the normal difficulty I knew it was a horror game because the music slowed down and it was dark.since my game crashed she was still in the game so she continued it. I was still on call with her so she screen shared. And her game crashed too when she got jumpscared. I was laughing because we both thought this was a fun game and we just accidentally played a horror game

Fun fact: If you go below the death barrier in Roblox games, you actually get stuck. Your character gets deleted, but you don't die. Since your character is gone, you can't reset, and you can't go anywhere, meaning you are stuck there for all of eternity. ...Or until you leave the game

I think games should be like pizza simulator. They dont give a single hint about that they are horror games. The lobby, badges, description and age rating made me inmediatly know "oh this is a horror game" Not to include the genre. They should try to completely hide the fact that its a horror game, not just give it away before even starting. Kills the horror and makes it more "wait for teammate to finish stage 48 to proceed in the game simulator"
