    I really appreciate the fact that you’re exploring the actual bullet journal method and not just marketing art videos as bullet journal videos… Not that I don’t love those art videos, but I need more of this in my life as well. Thank you.

    Agreed! I started BulletJournaling about half a year or so after Ryder brought his method to the internet, so quite a long while. Since then I've stopped, tried other things, but I always come back to his basic methods. Since finding Jashii's channel, and once again remembering Ryder's basics, the combination of them two has lead to me being consistent and happy with my Journaling It's minimalist, with a pop of color and really fits me. Super happy to have the combo 😊

    ooh ooh! I've been rereading the Getting Things Done book by David Allen, and the "Capture" step reminds me a lot of the rapid logging/braindump in bullet journal, so I've starting calling my brain dump page my "inbox" page - it helps me with going through my braindump because I love reaching inbox zero in my email account :3 yaaaaay extra serotonin!

    i restarted my bujo recently after doing it quite wrong and falling off over a year ago lol i'm starting the reflections easy, having a "how you doin'?" page that's basically a one line a day to answer that question specifically so i have a grounding point (and with a mood tracker to go with it!) i never wanted to before cuz it felt silly to me at first but i've accepted it now for my mental's sake haha thanks so much!

    hi, morning reflection was always a problem for me since the begining, I am working from early in the morning and waking up like a total zombie so no overflowing of thoughts is happening since I have to wake up fully first to actually have some😀 love this video, refelctions are so important for the method to work

    Thanks for this Jess. 💜 I want to laminate the cheat sheet and have it as a moveable tip in. I am guilty of having too many priority tasks. Now to decide I ask, "will I die if I don't do this?" No? Then it is not a priority! 😆 That's when reminders to set appointments with dr and dentist float to the the top of the list. Meh.😑 I think my next Nujo is gonna get a big shake up. Time for something new, avoid the rut. Reflection is key to figuring it all out.🧐Have a great week! 💜

    That's a great breakdown, thank you! Reflecting is so important! I noticed that actually journaling gives me a lot of clarity and mental space. In my last BuJo I used the feont for planning and the back for journaling. In may I started a new BuJo and wanted to journal in a seperate notebook. That didn't happen, so this month I started journaling within my daily logs. So each evening, when I'm going through my task list, I write a few sentences about what I am thinking about. Kind of like a thought log, if you will. This seems to do the trick for me because some days I don't "do" a lot, but I have a lot on my mind and this way the daily logs can better reflect this (no pun intended, but it works somehow!) I might try out the weekly reflections as well, maybe it will lead me to a monthly reflection that works better. I wish being a wizard could make figuring out what works quicker 😅

    I'm really glad you call it "Start/End of Day". I've never once had a good experience with premade planners because I'm a night owl and a premade schedule of AM/PM hourly spots is a waste of information/space to me! I write mine out as "Waking/Sleeping" for routine trackers.

  • @JashiiCorrin

    @JashiiCorrin

    I like to recognise that not everyone has the same daily schedule, so terms like AM and PM when we really mean "before you get started with the stuff you need to do" and "after you've in theory done the stuff you need to do" don't necessarily fit everyone, haha

    This video is an awesome resource! For me I do the weekly and monthly reflections without fail, but the daily I condensed and only do in the active in the morning for the day that just passed. I hate forward planning, so I don't. Same goes for using my bullet journal in the evening. Writing and sitting at a desk just physically hurts me, so I don't.

    While I'm using a regular planner this year, I want to gear myself up for bujoing again in the future. I'm going to tuck this away for that! I use a daily mood app and have seen the benefit of reflection using it (Saturdays are my most powerful days, and too much gaming heralds a drop in mood 😅) and although I worry I don't do enough to justify using the more full bujo system, perhaps this would help me to start doing more things that I would like to do. The cheat sheet will be a life-saver. Thank you for the video Jess! 💜

    Friction from dreaded, but necessary tasks comes under consequence for not doing. Yuk! 😒 But I give myself a luxurious reward, like like massive spring clean/de-clutter, a new pack of Tombows/washi sets or something else I've been eying off for ages, like my EC backpack w' lunch tote which I'm picking up today. Yay! 😁
