An places across America and elsewhere have either halted Saint Patrick's day celebrations or will still do them yet extremely safely. Guinness wants to make a clear positive message to everyone. There's nothing wrong with positive messages right now. The world needs more positivity during this time then fear. An I applaud Guinness for making that clear.

Why should I be upset when I see companies I like, Guiness, using tools and strategies that support morals/ values I believe in? If anything Id want to reward Guiness for that. Also in the end, its up to the individual to determine whether an advertisement/ marketing strategy affects them. Personally, I was already going to buy Guiness for St. Patrick's because whats St. Patricks's without Ireland's best known beer (and whats an Irish Car Bomb without Guiness). Im glad that the beer Im supporting is also decent enough to understsnd the pandemic thats going on and using it to their advantage while promoting safety and well being. When you see this comercial you have the option to take it bitterly (Another company trying to shove something down your throat) or optimistically (that company you already like is doing a damn good job at keeping my respect). None the less Clayton, Happy St. Patrick's day (a few days early) and I hope Corona hasnt hit you too bad. Cheers 🤟

Happy! I have had my corned beef cooking since Friday. Two because one is never enough of corned beef. I bring it to a boil, then let it simmer for a few hours. I have done that every day since Friday. Yesterday, I couldn't wait (or, the day before, either). I put my cabbage and carrots in and an hour later, I feasted on something that I think was Heaven! So, happy St. Patrick's Day. I hope every one has enough to eat, today. And, every other day. I'll be listening to Dropkick Murphy's tonight.

One time my dad and I went to Wrigley field for a cubs game. We were sitting out next to bleacher kings waiting for our bus. The only good beer they were sell was Guinness. It was $15 a glass. And it came in a reusable cubs glass. I handed the beer to my dad and said this was 15 bucks enjoy every sip of it. The memory of it is priceless and I would do it all over again

Growing up in Singapore, I love how how Guinness is called "Ang Ji Kau" (Red Red Tongued Dog/Wolf). I believe its a term that goes back to the late 19th century? I wonder what St Pats day will be like this year.
