Thank you so much for reviewing these. It's rare to see a KZread review of this house. A perfume shop near me sells these and I've smelled a few of them. You are spot on...they are decent but NOT worth the price.

Definitely going to try these samples because I’m curious but I love your honesty. They do seem very overpriced especially after seeing your review.

Thanks for the review! I love the spotlights and really appreciate your honesty. I recently tried a discovery set of 11 Floraiku fragrances (5 of which in your video) with a couple of fragrance fans and we were all underwhelmed. Another tea scent, "Moon and I," was my favorite, but not special enough for the price. Too bad because the packaging is gorgeous.

Agree, they look beautiful but left me a bit empty. Try memo paris by the same people, way more exciting!

Excellent honest overview. Personally I liked these enough to get a full bottle of Between Two Trees and a travel size One Umbrella For Two, so peeps definitely need to try for themselves. But the price really hurts 😬, I agree.

You’re so lucky and blessed to live in the UK, you can easily travel to India and so many other countries all over Europe. I’ve always wanted to visit the UK and Australia.

You enjoyed the only one you tried on your skin. I got a sample of One Umbrella for Two and tried it on my skin and loved it. Later I tried another recommended that was “I’m coming home” and I have never used a whole travel bottle of anything before moving on but I did with this. It smells better on me than on the paper, for sure. Body chemistry is tricky like that.

I'd be terrified of sleeping on the roof. Might fall off. 😂 Appreciate the overview Tom!

I love this brand, its now my signature scent. I put two sprays of one umbrella for two and one spray of sleeping on the roof. The two together is magic, give it a try and let me know.

I love Floraiku! Beautiful bottle, beautiful scent! MY only complain is their customer service and customer engagement

Those are very minimalistic by design as far as I'm concerned. I've read that they're designed so that you can mix them with one of the two (what Floraiku calls "shadowing") They have two shadow fragrances: "Sleeping on the Roof" and "Between two Trees." The first one they call the 'white shadow' which can add a warm and soft tone to the fragrance, and the second one, the 'dark shadow', will make it more rought and woody. You should definitely check it out since you've got both shadow fragrances! Great video btw!

Remember you said they have 3 collections? The flower, incense, and tea? Well, Sleeping on the Roof and Between two Trees are not in any of those collections, they make up the shadow fragrances.

Thanks for sharing. I agree it's a good insight. The cost of them though? Most people probably wouldn't wanna buy 2 or 3 bottles because they are horrendously expensive.

I've sampled a handful but have only purchased two: "The Mountain Standing Still" (Saffron, Black Tea, and Oud - I truly find this to be unique and transcendent), and "I Am Not A Flower" (a fragrance unique to Harrods which I believe is now discontinued and replaced by the new Harrods exclusive which I have not sampled, "Surprise" - "I Am Not A Flower" is a sweet affair of Oud and Ambergris, I think - information on these Harrods exclusives is elusive, to say the least - I'd certainly vote "I Am Not A Flower" into the 'glad I own it, but would never repurchase it' category). bottom line: please give "The Mountain Standing Still" a try - I find it inspiring.

@@ouch110 already purchased!! I think it would've been pricier to blind buy a whole bottle only to discover I didn't like it...the plus side on a sampler set is that there were other scents I enjoyed that I did not even know existed in the collection. 😃

If the juice can match the presentation i may be in trouble 😂 I've got some samples from them in a box I'll have to fish out ,excited to hear your thoughts on these 😊

Great review. No you're not being mean. I got the discovery set last summer and nothing stole my heart. Sort of just so so. The discovery box is still in the back of my closet forgotten till this video. 😥😓 I'll revisit sleeping on the roof!

I'd have to say that Floraiku scents are very, very well done. Some are not the most unique smelling. A lot of them, I really reacted like I've smelled them before. For the price point, though, it's ridiculous. I did really like One Umbrella for Two and bought the 60ml refill instead.

All floraikus got tons of synthetics there which show up on the skin. Best to sample these on skin and not paper. Some transform up in short time into mindblowing scents

Dalya Dalya I did afterwards, and I had tried the rhubarb one before. There’s “something” there with some of them like they have potential. I just can’t get over how much they cost

Hi dear! I’ve heard you trying to pronounce the ingredient Mate in a few videos. Could it be the South American energetic beverage called Maté, which is some kind of tea? In that case it’s pronounced (M« a » as in garAge / t« é » as in bae - that’s the only example I have in mind now) Also, I’d be happy to help you with any French words for your reviews, even though it’s always super funny hearing you BlrarghBloubling any French word. With one umbrella for two you probably can smell the roasted rice in the genmaicha tea, which you described as biscuity 🤓

😂 smh ..... no. Love the review. Unfortunate I find the juice from line is minimal. It's the bottles and concept of bento boxes that sells. Which I can be a sucker and persuaded to buy. Feels a bit like 'emperors new clothes' sales. I REALLY want the bottle with handy travel conversion, but the price hurts my common sense mentality. 😢sigh, I may never own a Floraïku bottle. But I do love the incense of 'my love...night'. I will order refill bottles and transfer I simple glass perfume bottle. Perhaps I'll paint the bottle myself. Thank you for honest reviews

Don't be afraid you'll be "mean". Honesty is one of your best and most beautiful qualities. Nobody is obligated to follow your opinion. I do like their concept, but good juice or not €250... Better be an instant love for that price. My most expensive FB is €208 and that one is 70ml I think.

I have just purchased the discovery set and found your review. While I normally delight in your expertise and wit I fear that in your haste to deconstruct the intricacy of the fragrances you, with your western sensibility, missed the point. If the perfumers are being true to the Japanese style the simplicity is the rule and contemplating the haicu and each note may be the goal. Not rushing through like being late for the 5:00 am train. I suggest giving these fragrances time to contemplate and enjoy the beauty of each note, if you can.
