Thoroughly enjoyed this haul. I was going to order the little rabbit earrings to use as a stuffed animal on my little girl's bed (1:24 scale), but I wasn't sure if it'd fit to scale. I really appreciate you measuring. It's very helpful, actually. I also love your little ruby slippers. So beautiful!

I am not at all used to 1:24 scale, though I want to be because I am quickly running out of space for my 1:12th collection 👀 the smallest bear in this collection is 14.5mm to the very tip of his ear so I think that one could definitely work in 1:24 as a 12" bear. Teddies come in all sizes after all. It is flat on the back, I've just sat it against something squishy and you can't even tell. I'd say definitely buy it

I'm so sorry about your cat. It is so hard to lose our companions. I think you are honoring him beautifully.

Great idea with the earrings!

I've been learning how to make miniature foods from polymer clay for a while now. During COVID lockdowns, I bought a large room box/loft combo intending to turn it into a drama-filled Michelin-starred restaurant. That's what convinced me that I needed to learn a lot more about scale. Those 22" wine bottles are play/fashion doll scale (think Barbie), AKA 1:6 scale. A lot of the items from Wish, Ali Express and Temu are closer to that scale and are likely for Decoden (phone case, bag charms) purposes. I want to do strictly 1:12 scale items and have found that starting with the dimensions of the real item, then scaling them down, is very helpful sometimes. You wouldn't think that a 1" dollhouse (12" real) plate is out of the ordinary, unless you realize that the plates you eat off of are likely much closer to 6-10 inches. In mini land, all of a sudden, you're eating cold cereal out of a huge fruit bowl!

Cool stuff!! About those big bottles: when I was a kid (circa 1960’s) my dad brought home a big bottle of Canadian Club whiskey. The bottle was at least 3 feet tall and mounted on a small base. Towards the bottom of the bottle was a spigot or tap!! When he emptied the booze he filled it with loose change. 🤣🤣😎. Maybe in the brothel? A big bottle of something for the ladies or special customers? BTW: as i enjoyed your shopping spree my void cat Cleo sat on my lap and enjoyed the time with me. Condolences…❤️☮️

So sorry to hear about your Sushi. I'm glad that i'm not the only one with a "shrine" to my pets. We have a little memorial table with little caskets on. I' ve even suggested to my husband that i turn my dolls house into a mausoleum, with one room for each. Not a clue why he didn't like the idea 😂

Loved the haul really informative. Being in the States, had to look up ironbrew 😂. I have been collecting for a Sherlock Holmes room box. I have the major pieces for it. But just sharing that I recently purchased a Sterioscope that has 3 mini pictures for it. It is really awesome. Still needing a lot of incidental pieces though. Again as always, awesome video.

@Joyce-bv2tg Iron brew is a Scottish fizzy pop ( soda ) that is VERY orange and also very delicious 😋 I just had to look up what a stereoscope was on Wikipedia. That looks cool. Is it a life-size or a miniature version? Do you share your miniature creations anywhere??

In theory, it sounds great, however, I am massively intimidated by the idea of making miniature plants. I've tried it twice and they aren't so cute but I'm going to give it my best shot 😅

Hi Xander, I've just made a range of accurate 1:12 scaled 3D Printed resin spirit bottles, I got fed up with the weird scales that a lot of bottle came in. However they are contemporary design, could work for a modern bar. Let me know if you want see what they look like.

@@craftsbyxander yes, either scale or the actual shape of the bottles are generally off, or they are sooo expensive. I've just emailed you with some photos of the bottles.

Good haul and very helpful for anyone new to Temu. Wish I had seen this before my 1st order. I knew similar stores are notoriously squirrelly on size but I was impulsively clicking just like they want you to😂

Nice haul. Those bigger bottles and glasses look like they would be more like 1:6 (Barbie doll) size. I love the little black cat and those ruby shoes are beautiful! I also bought those teddy bear and rabbit earrings to use as stuffed toys. They are adorable! In a comment of another of your videos, I asked qhere you got the "meter", but I was actually referring to the digital caliper. LOL I didn't know what it was called. Maybe Amazon would have it? Thanks for sharring the haul. Temu is definitely addictive!

At this rate I think I shall have to make my own with resin 😅 sorry, I didn't see that comment 🫣 I got those from Amazon. They are SOooooo helpful and I use them with every single miniature project. You kinda did a thing.LOL...I'm trying really hard to resist Temu completely. Which should be easy for me since I prefer to make all my own miniatures and I only 'collect' vintage miniatures for display. But I love watching other people's hauls. Hi Chritina. I am using a scale ruler. It has 12th scale mm, cm, inches and meters on it so I am reading out how many inches the items are in 1:12th scale. I have left the link down in the comments to where you can buy one of these rulers 🤗
