In a tiny corner of Queenstown, an unusual skateboarding scene thrived from the early 90's to 2011. The Go Sports Skate Shop at Block 6C Margaret Drive was a legendary skate spot, where generations of skateboarders came and went.

Great story! May there be another "Margaret Drive"! Young people need places like that: places to gather, practice a sport for free! Some things in life are priceless!

I missed Margaret Drive too. Always go there to drink fanta grape from the vending machine near Tai Chong Shopping Centre. The old guys will know that place. 1980

i remember i watched gleaming the cube back in 91 or 92... and i was like " i need to learn how to skate" i cannot for the life of me remember how i got to know of go sports (yellow pages maybe ?) but i went there with my mom, bought a plan b skateboard got myself a vans halfcab and a green SMA cap with a little red indian logo. but i was intimidated by the kids though... i have always skated alone
please make a skate park in bukit panjang :D
