I like that he doesn’t fish out of a $50,000 boat. Simple works.

That's all ya need. No sense in a boat that cost more than a small nice house. His boat is perfect for his way of fishing. I wish I had the extra funds to upgrade my 14ft jon boat to a bigger aluminum boat like his!

I like that he doesn't skip the fish across the top of the water to get them in the boat. He takes his time and enjoys the fight.

Can’t stop thanking you for showing us great genuine authentic fishing techniques to learn in every video you do!
You're my little brothers hero, man. Everything that he does with fishing, he does it " the Richard Gene way" no joke. Thanks for the amazing videos and knowledge
Thank you sir. You are a blessing to those of us that have stumbled upon your channel. From the bottom of my heart I appreciate you. ✌🏼
One of kind Richard gene the fishing machine..... Wooooo 🎣🎣🎣🎣 May GOD bless you and your family in Jesus Christ name 🙏
For a man like Richard Gene the Fishing Machine to have what I believe may be one of the finest fishermen I've had the privilege of learning his fishing techniques, I'm sure he's eaten his share. Share some of those delicious recipes with us Mr. Gene!!!
Old fisherman never die, they just smell that way.
Truer words were never spoken"they are here or theyre not here"
Richard we need a bluegill catch and cook!
Richard Gene has truly changed my life, and the life of my sons by proxy.
Richard studies the water very well! It’s the patience behind the fishing.
Love it. Spent whole year catching bass and forgot how much fun it can be catching panfish until recently. Grew up using a bobber with crickets or worms. Can’t wait to give this technique a try.
You keep yours woman’s happy and she take good care of you. You sure taking good care of Momma Sue today. I really enjoy watching your videos. I work industrial construction in Decatur, Al, so I watch your videos during the day when I get breaks. I like how you teach and make everything simple where the everyday fish man can understand and grow.
These are my favorite fishing videos you do. Simple fishing for some good eating. It also shows you don't have to have a fortune tied up in a boat and tackle for a sport second to none!!!
I don’t know why, but I love it when you keep the fish

I feel the same way. I think it’s because most of the time we’re used to fishing for fun and watching others do the same. Richard has fun catching his food. Makes it that much more valuable knowing he doesn’t just throw them all back.
I tell ya, if I had the choice of fishing with any pro fisherman or Richard Gene, I'd have to go with the fishing machine! Love your channel. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge!

I like him too Reminds me of my old fishing buddy.
Gets harder for me to fish in winter every year. But winter is very productive and not many around to bug you. Old Fisherman caught huge Stripe in his video today.
" GENE " we all on here watching you 👀 , great video's , Good fishing 👍👌✌ 👈
You're right about fish biting very lightly during the winter. I was fishing on New years eve and if I wasn't using a float, I'd have missed most of the bites. I love watching your channel. Love watching you pull up big gills.
Love your videos Richard, God Bless you, Mama Sue, and the rest of your family my friend.
I tell you what, I laughed on the first video I watched of yours with all your crazy voices and woo'ing lol. And now I strive to be able to have the patience and skill to finesse these fish as much as you do on such light line. It really is inspiring to me. Thank you for all that you do for beginners like myself in teaching your techniques and showing us how to slow down!
Finally some panfish again

Hey Gene, I want to thank you for turning me on to PippengersHand tied jigs. I bought 32 of them and have been using them quite a bit now. I've had my favorites that were always faithful go to when nothing else wasn't working...welp, the hand-tied jigs are the go to's when the regular go to's wasn't working. Thank, thanky, thanky, fer the good reports for something that works better'n snot.
Whenever the conditions allow please go for bluegill on the fly. It is so mich fun watching how hard those fish can fight. Keep up the great uploads.
Fishy fishy in the Brook Richard gets them on the hook, mamma cooks them in the pan, Elmo eats em like a man!!!! God bless you 😇
Love shellcracker fishing second to none
love your videos...have learned a lot...happy new year
Excellent job Richard Happy New Year
Was at the boat ramp the other day and it was crowded. About 10 pricey bass boats sitting and waiting to ride in to get there trucks. Me and a buddy rode through them and rode right up on the bank. I hoped out, got the truck, and loaded up. A guy was loading up his $80,000 tournament bass boat dressed in his polo tournament shirt and viser. He was like "you just pissed off a lot of people" my reply "They should of made a better choice when selecting a boat." I'd hate to have a boat i was afraid to hit something or get scratched. Love old Richard, he's just like us good o'l simple fellas.
That’s what I’m talking about , can’t wait till I can get on the water with my grandson, I do enjoy me some RGTFM Happy New Year to you and your love ones God Bless
