A bobber and jig is my favorite way to fish for crappies. Especially if there is a little chop on the water. That chop gives the jig more action. Thank You for another great video Gene.

Hello Richard- my name is Clifton R. Goins from Corbin, Kentucky. I just wanted to say that I enjoy watching your channel- I was brought up in the world of fishing and spending quality time with my Dad and Uncles on the Cumberland River catfishing mostly but catching whatever we could to clean and eat. Family fishing and camping trips were always filled with stories and discussing better ways to catch fish. I agree with you- fishing is a sport- second to none- no doubt. I recently purchased a new light rod and reel and some 6 lb test high vis line for it. I have the fever to fish and am really anxious to get out on the water and get after them. I enjoyed learning about ways to catch crappie with jigs with red worms as a trailer. Also- catching and using shad to fish deeper for them big bass. Have you ever thought of using an underwater go pro camera for when you are fishing the small creeks in your kayak or wading to get you audience a better understanding of what you are seeing?
