A habit is extremely strong, and habit has its own force. Ofcourse, to break a habit requires tremendous force! Negative thinking, blaming, procrastination are all unproductive/harmful habits, which can be break by practicing the reverse, by cultivating the beneficial ones. Through the story of Swami Vivekananda, Swamiji illustrates how we human beings are governed by habits.

Can I give a suggestion brother , The more we start loving each other ( like everyone out there, everyone has the same life force which is present inside you , it's just the thoughts that distinguishes the people , in reality everyone is same and the whole world is one family ) so how can we be angry to ourselves. We all are the same light of the divine god . We can say that god ( parmatma ) and we ( aatma ) are just like a drop in ocean . God is himself the ocean and the drop ... so how can we be angry with us and god as everything is us or you can say everything is god ..... You can try meditation on the name of god as meditation can solve every anxiety , anger issues , ego problems ...
I have able to give up soo many bad habits by this advice. Thank you Swamijj❤🙏🙏🙏

@@tilakbhagat342 you accomplish it by deliberately thinking the opposite of the "bad" thought. You think the "good" thought when you notice a bad thought coming in your head. The practice deliberately choosing to think the opposite thought you will eventually and gradually, not immediately, change your habits. Remember the habits are set in motion by the thoughts.
I am a married man, but I have been practicing brahmacharya, for more than two years. And I cut any negative thoughts that arise, by thinking about my beloved Lord Krishna - by thinking about the lofty thoughts of spirituality. Enlightening video Swamiji 🙏🙏

Radhey Radhey! What an amazing video! Everyone says, dont think negative... no one explains how not to think negative. Beautifully explained by Swamiji how to cut negative thoughts entering in our mind. He has compared negative thought to the piece of stone that may come when we eat our food. Mind is as important as body and also how important it is to cut negative thought right away and not let it build by example of flying a rocket. Mind boggling analogy. He makes it so easy to understand. Pranams to your lotus feet Swamiji!
Swamiji has given the key to mind management and breaking bad habits in this lecture. So powerful and so logical. Thoughts are real and they have affect on us. Swamiji has hit the nail in the head when he says that we are all careful about what we put in our bodies but very careless about what we expose our mind too. Feelings of negativity, stress, envy, unhappiness are like the unwanted stone that comes with the food in our mouth. We have to immediately replace such thoughts with beneficial ones. Thank you Swamiji.

Swamiji is transforming my life. Since a year I had been struggling with a lot of personal issues and problems, and had been losing my focus on my prime goals in life.
