I think she's adorable. She lives life on her terms. Doesn't need the church's help for determining her moral principles. Bless her heart. May she skate until she is 100+. I hope her children come to see her more often.

She is such an inspiration in many ways : being old and living alone, living in the brutal cold, living active , taking care of pets and animals, living happy... Whenever unhappy, should go back and watch her for inspiration. Keep showing such an inspiring people DW, thank you.

Why can't we? I do follow and we live in a free world, so everbody can, if they want to. The problem is, they don't want to or they are afraid...I don't know, but I think it's time for people to realize, that they live in paradise and we have to live together with mother nature in peace.

Lake Baikal is a place of stunning beauty and this lady is s source of inspiration. Sturdy animals and sturgy people. Я люблю сибирь! Thanks for showing them to the world.

She is an inspiration for anyone with sense enough to know what REAL POWER IS.

Her skates are as old as I am, I was born in 1943 HAHA, and they are in better shape than I am too. They still work. She has a beautiful couch cover.

Personal Life Stories like this video have so much more value than just simple entertainment. Looking into the Life of this Charming Lady who makes the most of her simple life allows us to see how other people live on so little. I hope there some good hearted men near by to give this Dear Lady a helping hand.

That's lots of time spent skate on Siberian ice,remarkable documentary.

What a beautiful, no nonsense woman, who has common sense in bucket loads. A simple life seems to be much more rewarding than our largely empty materialist one.

I may not agree with her philosophy, but I agree she has the freedom to choose her own belief. We can not and must not try to force our ways upon another. There remains the ethical laws of being human. Hers is do no one any wrong. I wonder where she learned that? It would be a good thing if all would keep that in mind when choosing our own actions.

Yes like my mother. I was trying tio work out why. Both around that age were not over weight. So I suppose eating well and being active is the key and being outside.

What an admirable Ice Queen! When i reach Lake Baikal, she's the person i'll visit and spend time with. Living masters like her are getting rarer by the day. I wish to make it this coming winter....

Strong people don’t need to denounce other people’s unique and personal views and beliefs. I respect Baba Lijuba for her ability to think and decide for herself what is right and I find such beauty and inspiration in her free spirit and warm brilliant smile. Her beliefs on equality and tolerance and embracing others in the moment and as they are in order to live a fulfilling and contributory life to humanity and the earth are very much in line with what I feel is true about life as well. And, Baba’s an animal lover too? 💕💕 As one myself deeply, that’s all I need to know about someone!!!!! Oh, and I am a Christian. Brought tears to my eyes... I've been Roller Skating for 28yrs & it's like I'm transformed back into a child every time I put my skates on! You can see the sparkle in Baba's eyes when speaking of her skating! Beautiful Story! 💜💚💛✌️🥰⛸️⛸️⛸️

I absolutely adore this short video! Thank you to the narrator… You’re great! And thank you to any and all who worked on this video! This is very fascinating about this Siberian/Russian woman! Well, I did notice how she seems to be permanently stooped over… And she sure did say that her back, it looks like the lower, hurts, from her work, and I’m sure the ice-skating affects it also! I am headed this way! I have a bad lower back, and it can be quite painful! I think it is hurting her.
