@@katsudon2048one of captures for the Yorkshire / Midlands region did show how info on the switchover was given on the ident before the movie began.

6:17 I liked also how the Ceefax screen changed to a "Goodbye from all of us at Ceefax 1974 - 2012", and then it slowly got smaller, like older TVs. Trurly a finale deserved.

CeeFax’s predecessor, ORACLE, did the same thing, slowly shrinking their display screen starting at about 11:30 PM before fully shutting down at midnight.

I love how on the first one, they are exceptionally respectful about the switch.

I agree with the comments, classy sendoffs from BBC Wales, and BBC Northern Ireland and Ceefax. Thanks for capturing this piece of modern history! Hard to believe this was was more than 12 years ago as of 2023.

Tbh Wales has the smoothest transition.
