First fighting game is actually MK 1 for me and after watching the grand finals and the build up to it, fr had to sub and buy the game and damn this shit is a lot but so fun

It seems like certain characters need less plus mid and low frames. The game is fast pace yes but there are still almost infinite loops that can be tweaked by decreasing the plus frames.

Imo they should make every character as good and fun to use as Johnny. That’s the gold standard on how the game should be, it’s only a problem because not everyone else can do it or deal with those things. I thought the same thing about Cyrax before the nerfs came down. I think there are still a ton of fun and unexplored combos but I hope they slow down on nerfing in future patches.

@@stephandunmoodie6235 doubting your sincerity, but against my better judgement I’ll bite and say about 15 years on and off give or take. I’m confident that we’re about to have a thrilling conversation. The patch made to Cyrax communicates to me that all the interesting stuff is probably going to get removed by the time the game’s life cycle is complete and that the vision here is more like MK11 (tame, nearly balanced, boring) and not like MK9/X (wild, unbalanced, interesting). If your first response to this is “yeah, but the top 3 were just spamming some good string into horizontal spin, and that’s not interesting either”, they could have easily solved this by making the last hit a true high so a neutral ducking opponent could challenge any follow-up (slightly plus but not jailing). Still would have the perks of being a great kameo but still require some level of thought to use. I already felt it was fine since it could only be used twice in a row (not an infinite) and left you without options afterwards. Not much unlike burning through all the run meter in MKX for cancels to be left without breaker if they succeed in blocking. Next on the chopping block will be Johnny, and then Lao, and then the next slightly interesting or broken strategy. In the horizon, all will be fair but also homogenous. I think they should fix Cyrax and simply work to make all the characters as good and fun as Johnny. This isn’t even the most broken stuff I’ve seen in fighting games, it just seems bad because a lot of characters are not as good and are more boring to use, so everyone is simply using Johnny.

It's to help keep the channel monetized. The reason it isn't on other channels, could be the following: - Region the channel owner is from. - Video itself has a sponsor and is not monetized by KZread - Channel may not be monetized yet. Also to point out the "It ain't like that on anyone else's channel" 😉 I have stuff blurred and colored changed on mine. I do it for editing reasons and my channel isn't monetized yet.

monetization. the $5,000 prize pool for the tournament has to come from somewhere. youtube money will help fund the pool. otherwise he will have to scrape up the money elsewhere. maybe you could donate more funds?

@@thelastskywalker437It’s obvious you’re a casual player if you think Johnny is fine right now. “It’s where armored moves and kameos come into play”? Forcing people to rely on such resources to get out of pressure makes for a broken game. Cage’s mid needs to be slower and some of his strings more punishable. The idea that his lack of a projectile justifies his brain dead rushdown game is beyond stupid given that the best projectile in the game is available to him anyway: Lao’s hat.

Mk11 was literally all wake up options. Mk1 has more variety, honestly Idk from which angle you're assessing these games because mk1 is better than mk11 in every way
