Great video opening. My EDC is a combo of urban items and survival items. The only UK company I ordered from is OscarDeltaUK and always proud to carry some of his items. It is no problem to wear belt pouches in Canada be that a knife, multitool, or other. If I was in London I'd be afraid to be stopped by a Bobby every five feet checking what I have on the pouch. I spread my EDC between trousers, jacket, and daypack.

As per EDC knife choice in the UK I always carry a Victorinox Multi-Champ dummy-corded to a belt loop on my jeans. It has every tool I'd even want in an urban environment. If I'm stepping off the beaten path I'll also carry a Victorinox Huntsman in a pouch. I figure that the lanyard and pouch add an element of threat reduction where the blades are concerned.

That Ruike pocket knife looks exactly like the Böker Tech Tool Outdoor series. You get exactly those tool sets (depending on the model, of course), the pocket clip with the two screws, glass breaker, removable scales, 12C27 steel... One could argue they're manufactured identically, just under different brand names. The Tech Tool has a hollow grind, which I always disliked and made me stick to Victorinox - how about the Ruike?

You're very skilful at making useful pouches. The concern I have is the knife on the belt in public. It is clearly nicely concealed and your pouch does not look like the usual knife pouches I just feel uncomfortable about having it on me and nearly had it confiscated when I was going on the Millenium Wheel, so it goes in a pouch at the bottom of my bag. On camp or in the woods is a completely different story, because out there it's a tool and usually not identified as a weapon.

Smart phone is the most important EDC but i guess there are not many people who don't carry one and they have mostly the same features. What about a water vessle? Another item i find useful for every day carry is a hankercheif or bandana. People mostly prefer tissues for cleaning their nose but a hankerchief has a thousabd other uses. Did you have any cord? Maybe i missed it. 6 foot peice of paracord or even smaller diameter line is fantastic. I carry a messenger bag on week days so a few items go in there. On my keys i always have a leatherman squirt the small o'light same as yours. I want to upgrade to the USB type c one soon along with my bluetooth earbuds so i can have all my electricals using the same charging port type. Apparently the squirt is being retired so if mine breaks (the sissirs already have, i think i'll swith to a victorinox and some nipex plyers. I'm starting to think a tiny tool pouch with dedicated tools might be better than a multi tool but it would have to be very practical to carry to stay on my person. Otherwise it'll find its way into the messenger bag and i may not have it when i need it.

The UK knife laws are very tight. The blade needs to be less than 3”, folding and non locking. If you caught by the police carrying anything else you have to have a valid excuse. If you’re a carpet fitter caught in a supermarket car park at lunch time you might get away with a craft blade but if you’re caught in a pub after work, you risk arrest.EU rules are slightly lighter but it’s best to play safe.

There are NUMEROUS justifiable reasonable reasons (defences) to lawfully carrying a belt EDC. Learn legalese, the law & how to defend & enforce your FREEDOMS rather than bowing to totalitarian tyranny. Ultimately your knowledge & your interpersonal skills & how to put the police back in their place where they belong is what's needed. We stupidly gave up our arms.

Great bit of kit, I keep meaning to purchase your pouches, they’re usually sold out when I look though. Might I introduce you to a different torch company, never been keen on Olite, they are very expensive and I’m not too keen on this idea of selling multiple versions of the same torch as “collectibles. Anyway, check out Sofirn, they’re Chinese, but they make really well made torches at a great price. They have a great presence on Facebook, so are very approachable. They have done quite a few collaborations with members of the Budget Light Forum, where the members have designed the “perfect” lantern or torch- the Sofirn BLF LT1 mini lantern , and BLF LT1 lantern, the mini being the best bushcraft lantern out there! (Yes, I love my Feuerhand lantern, but it’s bulky and a b*gger when the paraffin leaks, plus, you really need a head torch as well, this can be bright enough to replace both, you can change the light colour from yellow warm to blue white, and it does a cracking impression of a flickering candle lantern for that bushcrafty ambience.😁). Honestly, they are a really great company, I would not normally bother to recommend any product to anyone unless I was really impressed, they’ve turned me into a real torch enthusiast, I actually have nearly twenty of their products, all for different scenarios. If you join their Facebook groups, you can get really good codes to get 20% or more off.😁
