Allah loves to hear the voices of his creation, He loves hearing you make dua. If you're getting everything you need without getting tested then you will indeed will be asked about it on Judgement Day and you better be truthful.

5:07 Dua of Sa'd ibn Ubadah: "O Allah grant me honor and value and I cannot have honor and value without action and giving and there can't be any action or giving without any financial resources. O Allah limited financial resources do not make me adequately functionable, they dont suit me and I cannot adequately function without having abundance in wealth. Ameen."

The scholars are surely correct in their assessment, I'd still like to mention that kufr stems from bankruptcy of the soul, and faqr stems from bankruptcy of the dunya. They are lacking in goodness in either aspect. Adhabil-qabr could also be said to be from a lack of good deeds.

Allahumma Habli majdan wal majda illa bi fi'al wa al fi'alin illa bi mal. Allahumma yaslihni al qaleel wal uslihu alayh"

Making dua in Arabic doesnt improve its effectiveness. You can make dua in any language and Allah will hear it. This is according to all the righteous scholars from the first 3 generations.

Allah SWT is the god of everything he is the one who created every prophet including isa allahi al-salam you must find the right way and follow the islamic religion its five pillars and pray 5 times a day donate to charity go on a trip to mecca and the kaaba once in your life (Atleast) and follow the right religion before it is too late and then in the day of judgement your good deeds and bad sins will be mesaured on a scale and if the bad deeds are heavier you will suffer in hellfire so get on the right path and read the quran Ameen
