@@sharuk98ala you have been lied to my friend. there were no witnesses that confirmed that Allah or even just an angel ever spoke to Mohammed. So at best all the different versions of the quran we can buy are only what Mohammed maybe recited and nothing else.

I also grew up in Scotland. Young women are totally lost. As soon as they are old enough they are thrown out to the wolves to survive alone. With some support you can make it but many do not have any support. I was also brought to Islam for similar reasons you discussed. Your story was a joy to hear - I related to every word. Alhamdulillah

I'm also a revert, not wearing the hijab yet. Very inspiring to listen to her story

Muhammad copied books of Bible and made Quran. He married many to help them. He killed many as they were bad. So he added polygamy and jihad and made Quran. Truly amazing story. I'm sure this is inspiration for others like you who were previously curious, however, this was actually more inspiring for me (a born Muslim). Reverts like you make me think and really appreciate being born into the religion. I can't imagine how difficult of a decision it is to revert and tell my family/friends etc. despite the media agenda and what not. I question whether I would even think about religion in the first place to revert. So I highly respect all reverts and may Allah bless people like you and your family

@ joe johnston This ur view and I respect it. In Islam, when u revert to Islam, his/her son's are forgiven and he/she is like as innocent as new born baby. That's where I resembled "purified". If it does not fit ur philosophy, it's ok. Life goes on. You do whatever you want. No one forced her to convert.

All I said was just on a lighter note and she felt quite satisfied as I have seen so many young girls remain drugged, alcoholic, in illicit relation forever and their faces never glow.

I realized long ago that the reality of a 'God' was impossible, so I left my religion. The frailty of the human mind makes us want to believe that there is someone up there looking after us, and fear of death makes us want to believe that we will never die. After much deep thought I realized that we had been tricked by our ancestors who wanted us to behave in a better way for the benefit of society. My belief is so strong that I have an negative feeling towards the people who sustain and propagate religion, and happily take our Zakat (already invested to a value of 4 trillion dollars). Your belief may make you happy so stick with it, but 'God' IS a myth. You have all convinced yourselves that Allah exists because you want to believe it. The Scientific evidence that proves that 'God' did not create 'Man' or our Universe, has been denied by Islam because they don't want you to believe it. Believers are living in a false world, created by very clever people in the past.
