Iodine is extremely effective too but I think what happened was hydrogen peroxide became more popular than iodine because it didn't stain everything and is super cheap. Of course nowadays you can get clear iodine solution.

This is why if you have any period stains on your underwear, clothes, blanket, bed sheet, or your mattress, you can use hydrogen peroxide to clean it. Speaking from experience, the fresher the blood, the easier it will clean out. The dryer it is, the more elbow grease to get the stains out.

@aquamarie3117 lol that's the worst. If it's like fully dried, my personal tip is to soak some water on it for a few minutes and then go in with a paper towel to soak up most of what you can(repeat if it's that dried down). Then use hydrogen peroxide and a brush to really get it out. It should get rid of most of it but there could still be some stains left over. If it's a super small amount of blood, it should get rid of all of it.

Hydrogen peroxide doesn't hurt. It can tingle a bit in very sensitive areas, but it definitely doesn't hurt.

@@billyjoesmth4442actually, I'm living proof that it cures Asthma. I was diagnosed with severe Asthma in hospital after an attack that almost killed me in 2015. I was taking a brown inhaler twice every day, and a blue inhaler when needed. And I could not live without it. If I ever forgot to take my brown I was very wheezy and coughy that day. In December 2022 I started looking into Hydrogen Peroxide and Iodine (trusted sources that aren't from the government or Google). I stopped my medication and got onto 3% Food grade HP straight away on the 28th of January. No side effects at all. I have 5 drops a day in a nasal spray and fill the rest up with distilled water. I spay it 5 to 10 times into my mouth as I inhale and swallow. I take it twice a day and I haven't needed my inhalers that I couldn't live without since January. I also Started taking lugols iodine 5% in January, a few days before I started Hydrogen Peroxide. I take 6 drops just once a day in distilled water. Whenever I've been unwell I've nebulised them together, and when I had the flu it was gone within 48 hours. I suggest you read "The One Minute Cure" and "The Iodine Crisis" if you're interested in this for yourself or anyone in your family who struggles. Please do not take my word for it, but DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH FIRST. Thank you if you read this far. I'm really glad I do not need inhalers anymore 🙏
