Yeah the culture is changing and morality is being left behind. Morality is no longer considered desirable. I hear that many stores in San Francisco are closing and leaving because shoplifting is becoming so common and accepted. People are killing others at a rate we have never see before (other that war time). Violence is on the increase everywhere and some places the police officers are told to stand down and allow the violence to occur. The news even ran a piece on "golf rage" - fights breaking out on the Golf courses (of all places). The Baptist "are" losing some membership, but conservative non denominational churches are gaining membership among Gen. Zs.

It is not and I have no desire of intent to personally offend you. If you read my post carefully you will notice I said the "culture is changing and morality is being left behind." This is not to assert that this necessarily refers to every or any individual specifically. I don't even know you, so how could that be directed at you personally ? I will also affirm my long held belief that anyone can "act" morally (from at least a human perspective, externally) regardless of if they believe in God or not. I have atheistic friends who are good moral people. Their morals are very similar to mine and I would trust them. "brought up to believe that stealing is wrong." Wonderful ! But sadly, not everyone believes that, as I am sure you are aware. I just had about 500.00 dollars worth of property taken, so I feel it (and it was classroom teaching supplies. However, God's Standards are far above our human standards from his perspective all humans are immoral. That is an axiom that is taught in any 101 Systematic Theology Class. Essentially you are creating your own faith. Modernity is obsessed with changing things and the need to get into every space to change it. Even where it shouldn't. Faith transcends fashion trends and vogue. It's not something for you to bend to your will. It's the other way round. But I know that's a hard pill for people to swallow. The worship of Paul is at the expense of following the teachings of Jesus. The distortion of Jesus's teachings by Paul is well-documented. Unlike his contemporaries in the Jewish communities he traveled and taught, many of the stories of Jesus prominently feature women, often elevating them above men in terms of their faith. It was women, not men, who found the empty tomb. And in some versions of the resurrection story, women, not men, first encountered the risen Christ. The worship of Paul is nothing new, but it is wrong.

Without giving an opinion on this particular organization's action on women serving as pastors, just read a few of the comments left in this forum. It isn't a discussion on the issue here, but attacks on Christianity in general. So many, "this is why" comments to justify their choice to reject God and claim they have no religion or faith. The fact here though is that it is humanly impossible to not have a religion. because religion or faith is just to very similar words that mean "a belief system". Whatever you believe, is your religion or faith. There is one other dynamic here though, and you can find that dynamic by looking at who runs the Southern Baptist organization. It is the very same people that support anyone that is Trump-like. It is the very same people that stood by for centuries as their organization and those that support their organization, devastate minority groups throughout the US and other non-colonial countries and people.

In fact most had an extremely obvious & palatable dislike of it. Just look at the Constitutional laws they passed, treaties they ratified & the books they published; written, edited & published by the Founding Fathers, themselves. Publications like, *Age of Reason* or *Reason: The Only Oracle of Man* are good introductions. _"I am no Christian, except mere infant baptism make me one."_ *-Ethan Allen - Reason the Only Oracle of Man* _"The story of the redemption will not stand examination. That man should redeem himself from the sin of eating an apple by committing a murder on Jesus Christ, is the strangest system of religion ever set up."_ *- Thomas Paine - Age of Reason (1794)* _“History, I believe, furnishes no example of a priest-ridden people maintaining a free civil government. Bradford, April 1, 1774* _"During almost fifteen centuries has the legal establishment of Christianity been on trial. What has been its fruits? More or less, in all places, pride and indolence in the clergy; ignorance and servility in the laity; in both, superstition, bigotry and persecution.”_ *-James Madison, Ibid, 1785* _"I beg you will be persuaded, that no one would be more zealous than myself to establish effectual barriers against the horrors of spiritual tyranny, and every species of religious persecution.”_ *-George Washington, letter to the United Baptist Chamber of Virginia, May 1789* _"In this enlightened Age and in this Land of equal liberty it is our boast, that a man’s religious tenets will not forfeit the protection of the Laws, nor deprive him of the right of attaining and holding the highest Offices that are known in the United States.”_ *-George Washington - letter to the members of the New Church in Baltimore, January 27, 1793*
