Amazing scenery. No one is making me watch these films but when are the film producers & companies going to make something different apart from a under cover prince from a non-existant country whose trying to discover life, meets girl (not a princess), may / may not fall in love and lives happily ever after. Don't forget the chaperone. This prince is the least believable out of all of them that I've seen. And a story line about a chocolate campaign - covered baking, festivals, competitions, markets etc.etc. before.

I love Christmas

Its a cute story, but the best surprize was at the end (1:23:40) with a royal view on Lake Bled with an island and a castle Bled behind it. Lovely Slovenia. This was so interesting, that does not even bother me they chose the Neuschwanstein Castle in German Bavaria for the main castle. It all works well for a fairytale.

A most princely Christ*mas movie I loved it.🎉❤🎉

Enjoying the film so far. Just confused why he has a cut glass English accent and his brother (future King) sounds Canadian / Australian ! 🤔 Loved the panoramic view of Schloss Neuschwanstein at the start, so beautiful.

Indeed it is, but the interior with the queen is not from there! 🙂 I took the tour once, early in the morning when not too many tourists crowded the place.

I just watched this movie and I would like to give a critical review if I may, with due respect. Beyond the plot being mediocre (so-so), with a better writing could've been better, for sure; a bit more engaging. I didn't feel the characters falling in love at any moment, because there wasn't any moment that will drive to that. Some scenes and plot luster lacking, could've been perfect for what I'm saying: the hot chocolate scene (whipped cream thing), the chocolate survey, the car... all missed opportunities. The acting was OK. The sound was OK. But what it got me were: some parts were blurry, as the camera had something on its lense and the makeup was terribly done (me being a MUA myself). I've seen many Christmas movies so far and some were OK. This one had the potential. We all can learn for our mistakes, of course.

this is the most boring actors and all around boring movie the last actors that anyone would pick for a prince and princess or queen who is making these movies ? talking about unattractive actors no charictor in the background of the scenes very blan overall the scenes throughout the entire movie hope this will be helpful in the future for future movies

He would be wise to walk away from her. The poor guy wanted to be liked for who he is not because he is a prince. She acted so snotty and uppity. He didn't lie he just didn't mention it. She made him beg for for giveness.

As my late mother used to say, that was a good bit of tat. As a European, why did they choose to use Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria? The country name was atrocious...sounded more like a place in Central Asia than Europe. Nevertheless, for something 'feel good' to watch at Christmas, it fitted the bill and in the end that is all that counts. Chelsea got one thing right though, American women meeting European princes has happened before. Wallis Simpson met David or KIng Edward and once he'd abdicated, she became The Duchess of Windsor, Grace Kelly married Prince Rainier of Monaco and became Her Serene Highness, Princess Grace of Monaco and Meghan Markle met Prince Harry and became The Duchess of Sussex.

Nice, but not deep enough to truly convince. Real (played of course) emotions weren't seen. And the marketing stuff was just utter and entire nonsense. As if someone wrote a script without Any knowledge about it Whatsoever. Of course there had to be a 'wicked witch', but she wasn't wicked enough. So many lost leads. 3 out of 5 stars. And that's generous.

This is a not so fascinating movie for me. It's a bit childish, and the storyline is not so exciting😢.

Seriously, does anyone think this was romantic? Zero chemistry. What would the prince or any man see in a snobby and self centered woman who can’t get beyond her own narcissistic world view. The prince wants to get away from his controlling mother but is attracted to this controlling woman who seems incapable of showing love or affection. It’s all about her from beginning to end.
