@@jedsteelwell2354 Cute......I think I can count 21 without a cheat sheet. I get that it's not a big promotion yet. Historically, there's been numerous wrestling companies that had bigger budgets and bigger names, but FAILED to produce a watchable show. Overall, I think that every episode of Powerrr they've produced has ranked from OK, to REALLY GOOD...... With the exception of Episode 8...... which was recap and it made me sad.

This is why I love the NWA! The best ingredients for Pro Wrestling has always been story, character, and athleticism with believability glazed at the bottom of the pan so that the cake doesn't burn. You don't have to have a million dollar body, nor do 50 million flips to tell a story dammit. Tim Storm was the beloved high school teacher that stuck it out and won Sweet Charlotte. Nick is the sav vet trained by the master, in Harley and now you have Murdoch whose belly maybe a bit too big and looks like a truck driver. But don't ever think that man couldn't beat the livin shit out of you. Yeah I've order the event, a pay-per-view that actually means something with fans back at the studio. Yeah!

TK puts a ton of money into AEW, pays for world renowned talent, and has powerful network deals. If Billy Corgan truly went all in on NWA, poached some talent that can get people to tune in then maybe we could have this discussion. NWA has some really good matches. Thunder Rosa, Nick Aldis , and Serena Deeb are awesome… I think Aldis is one of the greatest World Champions in Wrestling today. but they don’t have the roster to be on TNT, let alone replace AEW’s 2 hour show. Dynamite is awesome and AEW is the best show in wrestling right now. NWA has potential but the owner isn’t investing in it the way it deserves.

@@TalibannedProduction The owner had invested in it though. Their KZread show was doing well and pre Covid NWA was super hot. But Covid, the firing of Lagana and loss of major names like Eli Drake, James Storm and Ricky Starks sorta put a damper on thing. AEW is hot because its new. But they are not gaining any new viewers. Ever since NXT moved they have kept dipping and I don't think those are the signs of a successful wrestling company. I would want my viewers to increase steadily and not go down and only come up on certain special occasions. And regardless, my comment was regarding the style in which NWA presents wrestling. You can't deny that the presentation makes it feel like a legitimate sport that you could lose yourself into, the wrestlers are serious and its grown men and women resolving their issues and having good matches without any silly gimmicks like zombies, stadium stampede, etc, the match psychology makes it feel like a conflict rather than a choreographed routine like Omega vs Okada or any other indy matches. This is a fact isn't it???

I got enough respect for young Mr. Murdoch that, I honestly wouldn't be mad about taking an a$$-kicking from him. Hell of a Man!

I think once things truly settle down moreso and the NWA can really lock in the talent roster POWERRR can begin to gain some real traction once again. Nothing against Durden but they gotta bring Marquez back. Even if he's only on-air talent and does 0 producing he's so much better in that position AND he's a link to the NWA tradition. Also speaking purely as a mark I'd love to see the NWA do more with Jeremiah Plunket. Like Josephus Brody before him Plunket is a long time Tenn Indy guy who worked many of the old NWA "territories" and is very underrated. I'd like to see maybe Trevor Murdoch pair with Plunket as a mentor type figure and maybe they go after the tag straps. Speaking of tag teams...JR Kratum or whatever his name is...he's not working for me and neither is his pairing with Idol Stevens so I think it's time they were given their walking papers. Id also like to see Chris Adonis drop the National title to anybody and then get tossed to the curb by Strictly Business, Dane&Crimson in particular as I'd like to see them committed to tagging full time again and join Aldis and Lattimer in S.B. but maybe change their names up a bit ....Crimson needs a 1st name for sure and I wanna say his shoot name is Tommy Mercer or something like that? I can't be bothered to look it up so if I'm wrong then I'm wrong but Tommy Mercer sounds better than Crimson....and for Dane, anything is better than Jax. Jax Dane......Jack Stain is all I hear. Nobody wants to see Jack Stain bro...so pick literally anything other than Jax.....Mortimer Dane, Johan Van Beathoven Dane, Vincent Kennedy McDane, "Pinky" George Dane, John Wayne Gacy Dane....all better than Jack Stain....but regardless I'd love to see them join strictly business....and as for that traditional mouthpiece ala J.J. Dillon or James E. Cornette or Bobby TheBRAIN Heenan I think the perfect guy who could easily STILL wrestle himself anytime it called for, much like Dillon, and he's got history with Tim Storm and the NWA, the former NWA WORLD'S Tag Team Champion The LOVERBOY Matt Riviera!!! And honestly I'd like to see his former IRON EMPIRE partner come back to the NWA one more time to challenge Nick Aldis for the 10lbs of Gold and that's former NWA WORLD'S HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION THE IRONMAN Rob Conway! But that's all speaking as a mark.... But speaking as a smark I'll say I know for a fact that the talent I just mentioned is going to run a lot less $$$ than say ... A Tyrus, who does NOTHING FOR YOU or an Adonis, who I like but does nothing for you or a J.P. Kracne or whatever Stevens partner is called or Slice Bootie or Jimbo Clearwater or whatever or ANY GUY you're flying in from L.A.!!! Call Tony Givens up and see who's hot in Tennessee....see if he'll give you Chase and Jason's phone numbers.
