If you're interested, Timothy Corrigan gives fairly regular updates about the château on IG.

Like most of your followers, I love formal elegance, and I strive for it in every room. What I dislike is that some people often present it as stuffy, flashy, or garish...when it's none of those things. For me, every room also needs to be inviting, warm, and comfortable, which makes the process a bit like walking a tightrope. Corrigan is one of the few designers who understands this juxtaposition, which (in my opinion) is why his work is so breathtaking and so wonderful to see on the page.

Your beautiful home is the best Christmas tour I have ever seen. And I have seen hundreds that is no stretch. So tired of all white and all new. Love your heart and home.

Mary, how beautiful your home is decorated for Christmas. The cats are so sweet and loved you 'napping' with kitty knowing you were under the covers somewhere. I will be looking into the Brooklinen line for sure as you made them look so wonderful. I liked the book review but hard for me to see myself with all the layering/fabric. Colors were beautiful. You have plenty of time to decorate. I started early so I would have plenty of time to shop (for others, of course). Thanks for the suggestion about the Herend.

As a Dutch 🇳🇱 i like it very much to see that you used the Delfts Blauw vases (vazen, in Dutch) as they should be: with tulips (tulpen) in the centre vase. You have a nice house. If you like tulips, you can put the bowls in the ground. This is the last month to do it otherwise it is to cold. Nicest is to put them per group in the ground. Then in the end of April or so, you will have nice tulips in your garden. They must be put three times their diameter deep in the ground.

Thank you for inviting us into your beautiful home Mary. You have such a wonderful style. I kept pausing to look more closely at some of your pieces. I love the wallpaper in the first room, and I did slightly drool over your parrot candlesticks 😆

I completely understand that. I put less fragile ornaments on the bottom part of my tree for that reason. All of my cats love to sleep under the Christmas tree. It's almost magical.

I loved everything about the home decorated for the Holidays...but Roscoe looking out the window to see who could be out there filming is priceless....I love that cat, and I noticed another kitty too...

Thank you so much for introducing me to Brooklinen! I purchased some luxe sateen sheets for my husband's home hospital bed a few months ago. The sheets have made a huge difference in his comfort and his ability to move in the bed easily. I also noticed that his skin is less dry and itchy. I've since purchased both the Marlow and down pillows as well as the lightweight and all season comforters. Since he is recovering from a stroke, comfort, warmth and ease of movement are very important. I'm so grateful to you for introducing your fans to this excellent brand. So lovely Mary. I love Christmas and your home so thoughtfully decorated has put me in the Christmas spirit. Your nativity set is very, very similar to the one we had growing up. My father took what he called “ clinkers” from the coal stove in the house he grew up in and would create a mountain and a hill behind the manger with them. The angel was placed there and the 3 wiseman on their way to the manger. Thank you.

I love your memory. This Nativity scene was purchased in 1964. It was made in Italy. It's the one I grew up with. I can remember sitting by it as it was highlighted by Christmas lights. It was so magical to me.
