In this video I go deep into MUSIO from @cinesamples.official , which is an orchestral plugin containing high end orchestral and other sounds in a light virtual instrument plugin. I show a FEW of the sounds, talk about a few issues I have with it, and whether I think it's a good deal.

Thank you, sir! This is great! I have Opus and got it on sale. It’s not line Musio with all the instruments, but there are so many libraries and bring me it’s like a baby that wants everything. What can I do to make myself confident and stable and Shan I learn all what is to learn in orchestrating I can choose my libraries much wiser.

Yes Opus looks very comparable!
I bought Musio when it was on sale back in December. I love that there’s so much in it. I’ve barely scratched the surface so far. Thanks for the review. It was helpful.

OK, my knowledge is very limited, but I just watched a video on the historic development of Musio, and I gather that choice of mic positions is coming. If you have this choice then I guess you can choose close-mic which may overcome your reverb issue.

The solo trombone in CineBrass core has a mute on it. That could be why it didn't sound right to you.

I know one did. That would explain it. Still a huge fan. Thinking of getting Composer Cloud too for 2024 and reviewing it also.
Probably dumb question, but do i need panning for the instruments, or are they already pre-panned?

This is a fantastic question actually. The panning for orchestral instruments is usually set according to usual orchestral layout. But that doesn't mean you can't mess with it a little bit for your mix.
Have you tried mapping the articulations in Logic? I bought it @199$. I find the layout a bit bewildering. So much stuff. The U.I. is definitely lacking. Thanks.

I haven’t mapped them but it would be easy. If you think Logic is a lot…try Pro Tools. 😂

@@HelloComposers I did it with a celli patch. Musio said they started at C1, but they were starting at C0. It's the only one I've done, so far. Too busy at the download buffet, ha. I do wonder if the samples are data compressed given the fast loading time. I have an M1 mini, which seems to handle it quite easily. Cheers.

They don't sound to me anyway all that good that flute sounded like a horn
