I find it more annoying that people don't sympathize with Aqua more than Ruby. Aqua was covered head to toe in his mother's blood, shouldering everything practically by himself, chose a profession that would get him closer to the murderer instead of one he likes, died horribly in his past life, and so much more.

I mean he could decide to lock her up in a basement and feed her rat poision to kill the twins and then plant HIS seed in her and then birth children who he will plant seeds in to create more of her and just kill off the male children to avoid competition. This way he can create his own manual idol farm. He could also brainwash male children to do the job for him so it becomes an automatic farm. The design is very human. I think it was worded that was because Ai not just asked for a doctor to help with delivery but to also keep her real identity secret and ensure no one else gets to know about her pregnancy as he takes care of her throughout this phase.

That's because he like and respect her and out of nowhere she get pregnant and that man who pregnant her was unknown. that's why he was shocked.

12:00 This was a rought scene the first time I saw it. Ai and Aqua (who was a former doctor) both knew that Ai was going to bleed out. So it was heart tearing to hear Ai's final words, she knew that the words in the media didn't matter anymore. Ai was finally able to tell her kids, with all defences down, that she loved them both, before passing away with a smile on her face. I really would love a season 2 if they get a green light for it.

It might just be that I have a different mindset, but I can never understand how people can grow so obsessed with celebrities to the point of feeling betrayed when said celebs get a family. It's one of the reasons why I've tried to avoid the whole idol genre, because the fans legit scare me. To obsess over a person you don't know to such a point that you make them a big part of your life. And even when I've watched performances, music videos and interviews, I just don't understand what's so special about them that people feel so attached to the point of harming them. What makes idols different from other celebrities for people to go so far for them?

I don't understand either. They can get a bit deranged. It's alright if you admire and support them, love their voice, their dances, or acting, or even how nice they look and dressed. But, to be obsessive to the point of being a stalker or a murderer? I'd like to believe it's not actually that common. It's just that if you're popular, it means more crazy people will know you, and be obsessed with you. The rest just sympathize with them more because their favourite idols are in every other thing they're interested in, such as the songs they're drawn in, the movies they love, how they dressed up or something, wanting inspiration in dances or just want to see someone dance so well as it looks good and they're entertained...

And it's especially terrible when seen from the eyes of the west, how East Asian idols will be villainized for dating and their own fans will destroy them, meanwhile in western countries, fans wait with baited breaths to see who their celebs are dating and who they have chemistry with and whatnot. It's so insane, how different the culture is regarding celebrities and idols. It's definitely one of the things that i like better over here, because being raised with such toxic views and possessiveness over celebrities is such a scary thought. Even over here, you'll have instances of crazy fans like with Christina Grimmie's murder, so having it almost intentionally perpetuated and socially acceptable...ugh.

Even with this just being a recap, the scene of Ai's death was absolutely heartbreaking. The whole scene was beautiful and heart-rending at the same time. It was a total tonal twist seeing Ai die when we thought she was the protagonist alongside Ruby and Aqua. But now she's gone, ripped away as her life faded away righted before her children that she truly loved. And that scene truly broke me, the stars left her eyes as the artstyle changed to a less colorful one. If only we could see more of her, it really hurts to see the star she is, and those in her eyes, fade away as her life fades right in front of Ruby and Aqua. And now, all that is left is revenge. It won't bring Ai back, unless the impossible time travel route is how the story ends, but it will be some consolation knowing her death was avenged and that she truly loved Ruby and Aqua, the only things she truly loved. I may only cry for only the most extremes of grief or pain, but my heart felt like it was crushed seeing her die. She will be deeply missed, even if almost everyone in the anime won't. Rest in peace Ai, for your beloved children will see to it that your killer will be brought to justice and your death will be avenged. This has got to be the best anime of the year, it was not lile every other slice of life anime, it was just so amazing yet so heartbreaking. 10/10 is still not accurate enough to describe how great and legendary this anime is. This is definitely a top ten anime of the year, if not the whole decade.

tbh it was just the first ep and now the mother died I was actually really sad when I heard this bro i have watched this so many times and it's such a heartbreaking seen this tragic incident must be stuck in aqua and Ruby and aqua was a huge fan of the mother finding out she died must have been so hard for her and how she said " I LOVE YOU" to her kids without a sense or hint of lie behind it that must be really sad and her death is so sudden if u don't think this is sad at all then bro u literally have no emotion at all

I was traumatized by the death scene twice in the same day and i need therapy and we need to make the dude who killed her to pay for it
