I don’t believe that I have ever heard such a comprehensively solid, balanced and wise sermon on relationships. Loving God, I thrive as a single person, and I have very little incentive to marry, for all the reasons that you state. I fully realise that a healthy Godly relationship can be fulfilling. But you certainly need the right ingredients, which you so beautifully worded. Being a business leader here in Amsterdam, Europe, I recognise and experience the effects of everything that you teach about leadership, so true. I love to submit to the wisdom of those in the team that I lead. And I love to give them every honour for that. This has brought great blessing, joy and trust amongst my team. Thank you Pastor, you are my mentor from a distance.

I’ve heard sermons about relationships before but none of them being explained like this 😮. Dr Dharius broke it down in such a way that it was relatable ❤️. After 7:35-7:55, I caught a flashback & was invested after that. Definitely have to watch this again 💯

Purpose requires your heart to be in it.. Lord help me to bring my whole heart into all that I do. Heal my heart and my wounds from the inside out so that I can reap in joy

Being able to identify that you’re behind in your development in that area is an ENORMOUS step to growth. Congratulations! I know that moment well, and I’ve thirsted for that growth ever since and now pass it on to others. It’s truly a transformational moment for you and that excites me for you. Enjoy the journey. One of my coaching clients had this moment about a year ago, and she chose to go a year without a relationship. And she’s about 9 months in and tells me all the time how making that choice gave her the free bandwidth to make all of her discoveries. God, thank you for being our safe haven. You know every thing that ever hurt, ever deceived, or ever crossed our paths. Heal our hearts to be in alignment with Your will only. Help us to desire the relationship dynamic that Christ has with the church. Not just romantically but with You, our friends, our family and even within ourselves. Remove the carnal and worldly teachings and replace with Christ, Your Word and Your promises. You are the redeemer of all things. Amen 🙏🏾

I went to prison for 5 years for loving my girl and everyDAY I honored my promise to love her forever (to her request and my pleasure) and I haven’t seen or talked to her since. It’s been over seven years now and I still can’t do anything less than tell her in my heart that I love her forever and pray for her daily. My heart, my spirit even has told me I’d have her back. Reality has not tho. I’ve asked God in prayer to PLEASE take this desire out of my heart if it is not his will. But yet it remains. I’ve checked myself against 1 Cor 13 and I’m loving as I ought. So I’m stuck. I just know I laid down my life for her, which the Bible says there is no greater love than, but I don’t know what’s next. The Word says God gives wisdom generously to those who diligently seek him, but I feel like I have NO wisdom on this one. I just keep doin the next right thing and growing daily. And I love and honor her without a need to know she or anyone else is watching. So I feel ya. This one is getting through too.

PD you kept it ALL THE WAY REAL! This was a word we need to marinate in!!! I had to go back & listen to digest this word for word! Lord thank you for guidance in the word💯
