this is most likely due to the Japanese name of the animal crossing franchise beginning known there as Dōbutsu no Mori and nintendo wanting to keep name consistent there as not to confuse people.

we need lego one piece. 18+ going merry would be incredible. it wouldn’t even be too many pieces as the merry is quite small. if they can do metal beard’s ship for 2700 pieces, they easily could for the merry.

I haven't seen the boxes before and they feel so great. Really catches the cute and coziness from the games imo ...just hoped that we could get already a box with piece counts all over the world, I hate the european-style boxes we have in Brazil with that awful thumb-pressing thing to open, and piece count should really be something NECESSARY for anything you, you know, *build*

The perforated spots to press your thumb InTo, so that you can open the box, are everywhere. Very few larger boxes are taped shut, and missing those...

Hopefully we’ll see LEGO release Shonen Jump anime themes for Japanese and American release with the original Japanese logos on the Japanese boxes

@@justatanuki.6495 The EU boxes with no piece count are the standard Lego boxes. In the US, they're required by law to display the piece count. Occasionally you'll find EU sets in US stores with a piece count sticker stuck on below the theme logo.

This is the standard Lego approach. The piece count is only listed in the US because it's a legal requirement of US market building toys.

I'm surprised they haven't done this before, its so cool they are doing this though

They really should've done this for Voltron and sold it as Golion in Japan.
