EPISODE 3: THE FRENCH ERA
In this video, I share with you a day in the life studying abroad in France. Today was a more relaxed day and there's a little surprise portion at the end if you're interested in checking it out. I talk a little bit about the structure of Angers, the city I'm studying in, along with how my classes are structured and what it's like. I hope you enjoy it ! Mixed here and there, you'll find some study abroad tips and get an insight into what it's like to live abroad.

That 20 seconds shot from 5:06 is incredibly cinematographic, a beautiful indy movie vibe. As an Angevin myself and living abroad at the moment, seeing my city in your video warmed my heart. Many thanks!
Awesome video! I was on an internship for my PhD studies by the time you uploaded this. I used to move on bicycle and travel along the country on my free days towards a new castle to discover... You made me travel back in time with lots of sweet, sweet memories, delicious food and wines :) I thank you and hope you are very well!! Cheers!
Great video Karla. It's obvious that you have an eye for and understanding of video creation and production. I'll be showing this to my French students. Merci!

Thank so much! Your comment made my day -- where is your class based out of? I hope they like the videos and are inspired to give France a visit :))))
I loved your "video style" !!
Salut Karla, what a coincidence! I just randomly found your video bc I was looking at some Angers videos as I did my exchange semester there too. While watching it I was happy to see Hannah in the video as we took together the same French classes at ESSCA. So funny that you met her too😀 I really miss the times I had there and I am looking forward to going back. Hope you liked it too 😄

hello i am planning on going to Angers for my exchange year and I am glad I found your video, could you give me some advice about the accommodation there? Like when should I apply cause I am going this September
@KarlaHoltman

Hey, that's awesome! I would actually ask your uni if they have any recommendations for accommodations + check online. Then, after narrowing it down, I'd call and ask the particular accommodation to see when they'd recommend putting all the information out there for a room.

oooo! That's super exciting :). I was there more in the spring time, which was pretty cold. I did a long sleeve and a bigger jacket paired with jeans and boots. The first couple of days, I also used a thermal but the thermal was too much when I was indoors. Hope this helps and enjoy your trip!

Hey Omer, thanks for your comment -- I wish you all the best studying at UCO. I would reach out to UCO and ask for more information on finding a residence and a job. I'm not sure which jobs are available but I'm sure that someone at UCO can help you out better than I can. Best of luck!
