Debating with school of mines and csu. Got accepted to both but not sure if mines extra price is worth a better engineering degree. Csu seems to be a better atmosphere

My sister applied to Colorado State would you recommend it she got into 20/22 colleges she applied to she got waitlisted at Purdue and rejected by UW Madison but she’s choosing between Colorado State, Clarkson, Colby Sawyer, Endicott, Hofstra, MSU, Plymouth State, Quinnipiac, Salve Regina, Oswego, Syracuse, UTampa, University Of Colorado Denver, UConn, UMass Amherst, UMass Dartmouth, UNH, URI, UVM, and Rutgers

Thats a lot of schools! Congrats to her!! As a student here, I think CSU's best quality is community. I've made a lot of friends here, and it feels closest to home. She'd be surrounded by nature and good vibes for sure :) If she is coming as a first year, "key communities" is a great thing to apply for. All up to her really! Wishing her the best with what she decides! :)

@@oyle552 if you have a ramweb account / student ID with CSU, look up “csusa”! It is a scholarship resource that lets you see what scholarships are being offered at CSU and you can apply to them. This has been a very helpful tool for me, the deadline to get everything in is March 1, 2023
