Typically girls like this always have the worst grades. Asked this one girl for her notes in my bio class because I missed a lecture and she said we weren’t friends like that yet. So I was like okay bro. Exams come around and everybody gets their scores she was bragging she got an 87 and asked what I got and I said 97.

i went to school with liz (thebeekid) and she was valedictorian of our class! besides having a high gpa, she was also very involved in school activities and has a great personality, which i am sure translated in her application essays

Nah. That’s not accurate. During 1st year, I didn’t do anything work throughout the whole year, only did the coursework, passed the exams and that was it. 2nd year was the same - wake up whenever I feel like it, have breakfast and go on KZread for 12 hours and then shower and sleep. Final year, the realisation that I’m graduating soon hit me, and I now try to wake up at 6:45, do lecture prep for 4 hours in the morning, have brunch (no time for both breakfast and lunch), and then at 11 I either go to my lectures or do coursework/extra reading. Yeah that was a huge 180 for me.
