We haven't had wash clothes during any of our stays in the DR. We brought our own once we learned this. Don't know why.

Do you have to fill out an e-ticket/ QRcode? Do you need a Covidtest upon arrival or departure?

We needed to fill out the QR code on arrival and we had to take a COVID test to get back into the US in the fall of 2021. You don't need the COVID test to get back to the US anymore, and I can't speak to whether you need the QR code to get into the DR
Great reviews of the resort ! We are considering a trip to DR and really feel this place is for us. What is the cost per person for DAT to and from Punta Cana airport? TIA

Thanks J. I just had this question earlier today and I found my email from them but it didn't have any pricing. I believe it was btw 250 and 300 round trip and there was 11 of us

@@detailedtraveler Thanks for the info. If I understand correctly, the price for two people would be approximately $30 pp each way? Also, how would you rate the beach ( sand/water) to other places you've traveled ? We just returned from Aruba, and would like to find something similar to their white sand beaches and turquoise waters. If we don't book something in DR, we might try Anguilla, which is a whole different vibe, but they supposedly have some of the nicest beaches and clear turquoise waters in the world.

@@detailedtraveler I went to their site for a price, it looks like a round trip for 2 is right at $200, so about $50 per person each way. Not too bad I guess ,considering it's a 50 minute ride each way.

J, my wife has been to Aruba and she was very impressed with the water,sand,beach at DR. I would say it was the second nicest beach I have ever visited. #1 - Isla Mujeres in Mexico, #2 DR, #3 Antigua, #4 Cancun. I have not been to Aruba so I'm trusting my wife on that one but she was very impressed with the water and beach and that is one of the main items she looks for when planning our vacations.

Yea I would agree the price was pretty good when I compared at the time we went. I would also say I think we got there in about 40 min and I didn't fear for my life. It was a decent amount of highway time as well.
We decided to go to La Ramana instead of Punta Cana. We still can change our plan. Not sure if we made a right decision because all we hear about DR is Punta Cana. We chose La Ramana for Bayahibe Beach with no seaweed issues. Any thoughts?

I have not been to Punta Cana but we obviously flew into there. My wife was there in the past and she wasn't too impressed. La Ramana was nice the resort was nice as well it just doesn't have the same focus on service as Cancun did in comparison. It is more of an island feel and speed which makes sense. If you are making your decision mostly based around the beaches than you won't be disappointed b/c this was the main highlight of the trip. The beach was incredible and we all loved it.

Hello TL, I have my confirmation email from them but it doesn't have a price. I'm pretty sure I remember it being btw 250 - 300 round trip. The trip from the airport to the resort was about 45 min and we had 11 ppl in our party.
