When I mix resin for projects there is inevitably some left over. I pour that excess resin into a container and let it set. Usually, I put a few small offcuts of wood in there as well as I don’t want to throw them away. Once the container is full, I put the piece on the lathe and turn it into a bowl. This is the third “leftover” bowl I have made. They are unusual and colourful and very unique.
The bowl is approximately 12cm in diameter and 10cm deep.

I use a WL-46A lathe from Hare and Forbes Machinery House along with a variety of chisels from different manufacturers.
