Hello, we noticed a lot of our viewers getting confused about this concept. What's mentioned in the video is correct. If we take any two numbers(one of which is the multiple of the other), then the HCF is the smaller of those two numbers, and the LCM is the larger one. For example consider the two numbers 4 and 8(8 is a multiple of 4 as 4x2 = 8). In this case, the HCF is 4 (4 is smaller of 4 and 8). And the LCM is 8 (8 is larger of 4 and 8). This is just a shortcut, and you may verify this using the regular HDF, LCM techniques. Hope this helps. Apologies for any confusion caused :) ✅To understand Highest Common Factor (HCF) and (Least Common Multiple) LCM better, please enroll in our full course now - infinitylearn.com/cbse-fullcourse?KZread&DME&G3NEqJy15wg

This wrong method. Reason is there, u said that if the two numbers is not common,we must multiple to get the LCM but when we find the LCM of 4 and 6. When we multiply according to your method that multiply 4 and 6 the result, we get is the answer ,that is (24). But when we find the LCM of 4 and 6 with the actual method we r getting the answer 12. So u r method is wrong. Plz don't send useless videos like this.😡😠

If i am incorrect plz forgive me but our teacher is the one who tought me this. So i am confuse now should i listen to teacher or u? 1000 / millions of teacher's will say H.C.F is the higgest one and in this video u are saying H.C.F is the smaller one....so what should i do?

Whereas for HCF we have to find the first (earliest) factor of 21 & 7 meaning it is either 7 or smaller than both numbers, meaning HCF is the smallest number.Know ur facts right now?
