Our first video guide is here! This is the start of a series of guides to popular UK locations for staycations. This guide is for the Gower based in Swansea, South Wales. This is a short guide of places to go and where to stay. The places chosen for this video were chosen based on family and dog-friendly options for a staycation, places I would choose to go. I cover Rhossili bay, Port Eynon beach, Gower Heritage Centre, Three Cliffs Bay, The King's Head Inn, King Arthur Hotel, Bank Farm Leisure Site and Oxwich Camping Park.

We live on Gower and had a drink at The Kings Head this afternoon. It is an amazing place to holiday. So good we retired here.

@@madeforadventures On Gower there is the beach at Pwll Du. Very otherworldly. There are many waterfalls off the road north of Neath and some are hardly visited at all.

You are best using a car to get to and around The Gower. To get there from Swansea is quite easy however, I do recommend using a sat nav to get there 😊

It's not too far! It's still in the county of Swansea but about 35 mins by car although you can use bus services to get there too! We visited Rhossili today for the sunflowers and videoed the experience! Definitely worth a visit! Are you local to Swansea or visiting?
