I'm a 25 year old mom of 2 boys( 2 years old and 2 months old), and I'm struggling with coming into my motherhood with P.P.D. Hearing how fondly you look back on these days that I'm struggling through helps remind me that it's a tough season of life but it'll pass and then I'll smile back on the mom i am now. So thanks, sis ❤

My daughter said to me yesterday in the car “How does it feel knowing your oldest son graduated, I’m in my 2nd year of High school and your youngest is going into High school !?” And I burst into tears. 💖

A friend of mine, with older kids, told me last year when my first went to college, and I was a mess, that as nostalgic as I would always be for the “little years”, I’d grow to love this time in their life even more because they become adult people who I’d be able to have a friendship with well as being mom. I’d get to see the good job I’d done raising them to be such wonderful people. Through my tears, I didn’t believe her. It’s a year later and guess what? She was right. I’m so proud of him and proud of my husband and myself for helping to raise such a great human being❤️

I do miss my "little years" but I found that every year, as they grow, (they're 26 & 28) is my favorite. Watching them grow and mature and make life choices - so sweet. By God's grace I have amazing kiddos..... College is just the beginning of watching them reach they're potential. Motherhood doesn't end with the age of 18

My late first husband and I used to laugh and say, "Once your kids are grown, you'll help them move just to have the chance to spend time with them." I've helped several times, and paid for the Uhaul each time. Love my kids, no matter what.

Goat math is just like chicken math. Somehow I started with a few. Now all the sudden we have 13 goats. I honestly think goats are my favorite farm animals of all time. They’ve taught me so much about patience and responsibility. ❤

The most beautiful and true statement I have ever heard about parenting is that the days are long but the years are short ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Hugging them more than I usually do... because I'm a mess here too! One is off to art school 5 hours away, the other to a public college 2 hours away. Holding the tears back and trying to be brave. 💔 Spending more time in the garden. I get it.

I remember my Son’s College orientation. I was so proud of him and he was so proud his Mom was there. I actually met parents of my Son’s later on good friends. I was glad to see so many parents attending with their kids. It was a heartwarming day, indeed! Blessings ❤️🙏🏼

Time really flies waaay too fast!! Today was my oldest son's 50th birthday. So many wonderful memories we cherish!!! 🥰🥰 Now, with our two sons and two daughters, we are expecting our 10th grandchild in a few months. The grandkids range from 32 down to 2 years, and now the one that is expected.

Jess, my baby boy joined the Navy late last year. 19 years old and he’s having a great time and making good friends but man I miss him so much. Letting your firstborn (or 18th born for that matter) move on to the next phase of their life is never easy but God willing so very rewarding ❤
