Another game that is fun to casually play in VR is crazy stairs. It’s normally a flat screen game but if you play in VR you are an omnipotent role that is super fun to play as.

12 years ago when I played roblox for the first time ( I stopped like 5 years ago) I never expected to see this game being ported to VR, it sounds so cool, but at the same time it makes me realize how old I am

One problem with low graphics on Roblox VR is lighting. Lighting on anything below Graphics level 5 will appear nearly pitch black in some non-vr games, such as The Normal Elevator, so I would recommend at MOST 5 for said games, unless you are really confident in your headset.

Tunneler is a game I would have loved to play without needing to use my pc however that gfx level 5 requirement tanks FPS to arround 20 And with spacewarp being forced on that makes it rightfully gag worthy

WAIT IS THAT MY PROBLEM??? For a while every time i've tried playing on roblox vr it's given me nothing but a pitch black screen with some random colored pixels in some places, is that the graphics bug or is it something else?? note: im not sure what the graphics is set to right now since i play roblox vr on my roommate's pc because they have a display port and i dont T_T

Hooray, a finally decent video going over almost absolutely everything to do with the new open beta for roblox on the quest 2! Amazingly scripted, you didn't miss a single detail and honestly would truly help alot of people out who are fairly new to the roblox platform as a whole. Underrated, amazing video, you just got a new sub :D

A roblox VR game I would recommend is called Kit battle (specifically beta, as that has the bigger playerbase than the regular kit battle) It has it's own charm where you are thrown into a "simulation" doing whatever, most likely fighting it has its own VR exclusive class as well as a few other "kits" which are VR supported.

I really wish roblox in general would seperate render dist and general quality. I don't wanna make my game look like irl when i want to see farther.

This was very useful I was playing Vr hands with my friend, and the whole map didn’t load properly so this really helped.

It’s sad that the Doors developer said that they don’t plan on making vr support. They’ve said it’s because they can’t make it compatible, as they have a custom movement and camera system that would make VR really weird. They’ve also said that there isn’t enough of a player base for vr doors (which I personally think is just untrue) LSplash also said that he’s just too lazy to work on it, which I respect.

Don’t forget Energy Assualt, the game that was used for most of the background footage, it’s also a shooter with tanks and a currency to gain better guns to use during rounds.

in my opinion, edgeworks was not great, the physics were ok until it got to the part with guns. The guns didn’t work really well and holding them was janky and unresponsive to move. so overall at the moment, it’s not worth $5 and just made me play real boneworks/bonelab lol

For the vr horror games, there is one called "Frigid Dusk" that claims in the description that it supports vr but i never tried it idk how good it is

Weird comment, but I am a senior moderator for the discord of RCM Games. RCM Games made the group RCM Games on roblox and also made the game seen in the gameplay in chapter 1 ìh this video. I just thought I would point this out as it reminded me of when I was a mod.

I’ve played edgeworks on my valve index a while back, since Roblox and the valve index really aren’t compatible it ran pretty poorly but trying to play with the messed up bindings the game is really fun and advanced for a Roblox game.

Is there a way to hide that bottom menu at the area below your vision fully? You can lower it but it just re appears if you look down. Absolutely destroys immersion

Great video, I know this one game called "Project: SCP," its basically a Roblox recreation of SCP Secret Laboratory. I never actually played it though since I had to create another account for vr and it hasn't reached 30 days yet.

BTW a ps/Xbox controller has more buttons the most vr controllers, as console/pc controllers include a d-pad, as well as in some cases optional buttons on the back

If there is no option to download the game you might want to check around in the details page and see if its anywhere else inside the Roblox page on the oculus store. For some reason it didn't tell me I could download it either until I looked around for it.

i dont know how to go to servers in vr. i dont see the servers button in the menu anywhere. and im trying to go to a vip server in a game to do something that other players can sabotoge you on.

A roblox VR game that i 100% recommend is called "Tunneler" It's basically Portal but in VR! Portal 2 is one of my favorite all time games, and the fact that you can easily play a portal game in quest 2 is crazy.

Here is a ROBLOX Puzzle game called Tunneler, it's a fan-game of Valve's Portal Series and the game is VR compatible to the Quest 2. The game is fantastic and has a more original story from all other Portal fan-games but somewhat the same. Just a warning if playing in VR on this game, there is motion sickness. I highly recommend playing it first without VR.

The one problem I have with quest roblox so far is the janky ui, especially the bar menu thing at the bottom that follows where you look, it’s annoying and as far as I’m aware, there isn’t a way to hide it

Bro games like vr islands have the hands messed up and your camera doesn't match up, for example, if you move ingame, you move as fast as a normal person. But if you move IRL, you move as far as a giant would. This leads to desyncing.

I suggest you play cheese escape in vr. The feeling of you knowing that a huge rat is out to get you is terrifying

If you need a fun game and you like social games you should play neighbors especially if you have vc it’s really talking to people and being able to punch them and grab them and stuff and even with the graphics at 10 the game runs as smooth as water

8:11 , theres a glitch (at least for me) for project: scp in vr, when im running towards a door that requires a keycard and equip the keycard and im about to open the door, the game completely freezes, and its stuck on the spinning hourglass ⌛️ and i have no way to fix it

I have a horror game I made on roblox and I'm trying to get vr support for it, but it's really hard. it's still playable with flat-screen crossover but there's just no vr scripts that work in r6 that aren't extremely janky. it's really unfortunate.

i have one question why is my hand tracking so bad but in one game it works like a charm but in other games like vr world my hand tracking and place meant is just bad like down up BAD. do you know how to fix it?

4:57 For clarity you cannot play all non-vr titles. Some games restrict you from playing them either because they haven’t updated their game for vr default support. Or because there’s coding invoked for other vr platforms not officially supported.

Sadly, I do not own a VR headset but the automatic graphics mode does not help very much. I have a great PC, so I don't need to use automatic graphics mode but on my iPad it crashes frequently even with automatic graphics on. Btw, great video. It would be very helpful if I did own a Quest. I'm going to save this video so in the future if I do get a quest I can rewatch this video.

Other than decreasing your graphics what else can you to help with really laggy gameplay?

Whenever i get close to players, they disappear. How can i disable this? Is it also in the settings?

The only things that I don't like about Roblox VR is #1: you don't get to see your hands. All you see where your hands are supposed to be are just your controllers. #2: The fact that the bar at the bottom doesn't go away. Other than those 2 things that are very easy to fix, I find that Roblox VR is a great experience

For me, Roblox didn’t show up on the store. However, I did find it available on the Meta Quest app, so I added it from there. Hope this helps anyone having trouble!

Couple other roblox games that support Vr: bus simulator (or bus sim for short) basically a chill game with events that will either be an attempt to kill you or just troll you, made by noblereign and game being moderated 24/7 so no roblox players break its or Roblox’s rules, uses nexus VR Tower defence simulator (TDS) released its vr support recently, not working in lobby but shows up when you’re in a match And some stuff is easy to figure out, though it might prompt you to leave game sometimes, made by paradoxum games Crazy stairs, or as people will sometimes call it the true roblox Sisyphus simulator depending on who’s playing it, has vr support where you are a god amongst weird people with magic of stairs or something, forgot who made that lmao And lastly kit battle, cause kit battle, and kit battle, it has vr kit and it pretty fun when you aren’t forcing your hand to have a spasm with the lightsaber constantly, also made by noblereign, which obviously means it’s also being moderated 24/7 blah blah blah you know the rest of the line.

I love edge works it does not have any bugs or bad glitches that i know of but also i dont like how the first person works on most games because i want to see my body move and not look like an npc

My recommendation for people playing vr on roblox is for now unironically playing non vr games for example old roblox titles for example like natural disaster survival are simple in concept and controls making them compatible with vr in its entirety and as well for og roblox player coming into roblox as a vr player now vr is the perfect spice to make these classic games amazing again and until actual vr games are available or optimized for quest 2 this is the best way to spend your time

yeah but unless the game changes it specifically others won't know you're in VR and in some games the chat doesn't even work so you have no way to communicate. And omg having that little hud on the screen with LITERALLY no way to turn it off is so annoying. Trying to click something in the game and accidentally clicking that button on the screen is so annoying. Idk how they thought that was a good idea

roblox vr is awesome, i love it but one thing i hate is the size of hands being different in almost every game, i go into energy assault or something and my hands are HUGE and in like vr hangout or something the hands are perfectly fine

If you want a decent driving game that has good vr support try "the road not taken" its fun!

1:40 i think this is because roblox is on app lab, and app lab games don’t show up in the regular quest store on the headset itself. you need to use the mobile app.
