I go to a private liberal school in Baltimore, MD. You would be appalled and flabbergasted by the amount of progressive political correctness that is apparent. If you even slightly challenge black lives matter, and if you are lucky enough to have a black girl in the room (theres only 3 in my grade), than they will scream and curse at you and run out of the room crying. Our teachers protect the outbursts against conservatives. It is a rough world to live in if you are a republican, however it definitely prevents you from being a lazy republican.

Grades also differ from school to school. In my old high school it's mostly independents who have the best grades, honestly. I think my anecdotal evidence is just as valid as yours.

I have a degree from a public university in Baltimore, where radical progressivism was the only acceptable ideology. I entered with somewhat liberal views. By the time I graduated, I was quite conservative with some social libertarian beliefs. I admire quite a few aspects of classical liberalism...but extreme progressivism is closer to regressive fascism. Regressivism discourages free speech, uses coercion to force acceptance of a dominant ideology, promotes a culture of fear, and encourages hatred. Regressives often discuss how the republican party fails to do anything about the most extreme members, but ironically don't seem to understand that they are equally as extreme as those they criticize. They use the same fear mongering techniques, have no problem lying & abusing research, and are equally willing to abuse government so they can achieve an agenda through social control.

All I ever see are people on *both sides* taking legitimate, logical arguments and profusely claiming they're wrong without any reason why because it's the other side or their pride was hurt or something. It takes a big snowball to admit somebody may be right or at least have a point. Also, I think you should check out more of Prager U's videos, you might find more you like. Dead Locke said it already, but there are a lot of politically diverse people on here talking about important issues. Even if you don't agree with their argument, you're at least more informed. That's why I really like listening to PragerU videos, I don't always like or agree with what I'm hearing, but at least I'm just a little less ignorant about the topic.

I dont know but I think this video is a little exaggerated... I have encounter easily offended people on any of the sides of the political groups. I think we live in a era where anybody is looking for something to be offended and start an argument with whoeber doesnt think like them... Cause now days is not about being correct, it's about feeling correct or appropriate, and making the opponent feeling incorrect and inappropriate and laughing at them on their face. That's what I have seen on every group. Cant have a conversation anymore without being demonized for making someone feeling "uncomfortable". And that is a very single group.

Have another look at the comment, specifically the 10th word of the second sentence. That is to say, I agree with all of the POINTS being made by George Will, not the literal meaning of the sarcastic positions he takes to make them. It is so obviously sarcastic I didn't think anyone would take it otherwise.

Steve Prestek you are correct, although probably a soft Libertarianism and I actually prefer Ayn Rand's Objectivism (there is a role for the State), although they are getting closer and closer with time. When I say progressive I mean socially progressive, but I am definitely economically conservative (classic liberalism). I believe in a minimal safety net (so people aren't dying in the street), education for all (equal *opportunities* not equal *outcomes*), and as little government regulation as possible (merely to maintain a level playing field and prevent abuses of money/power). After that sink or swim. Governments shouldn't be telling people how to live their lives, imposing morality, protecting people from themselves, regulating language etc. As long as you aren't hurting anyone the government should just leave you alone.

I congratulate you Trevor, your thoughts and beliefs are smart. In political parlance you would be a "small 'L' Libertarian (libertarian). I think this is what you identify as "socially progressive" but it is really more Libertarian. This is what I have gravitated to myself over the years (Democrat - Republican - libertarian). I believe that liberalism and now what they call progressivism (coined today to dodge the "liberal" moniker that is now derided by many) are largely a bankrupt political ideology (only differing in name) only still with us because of their support in the halls of academia. For whatever reason liberalism and now what they call progressivism became the ideology of big stifling government and political correctness in its most virulent. I think it is because most people will refuse leftist ideology when given the choice so liberals have turned to populating the government and using the courts to press their agenda. Rand can be a tough read but her ideas and beliefs are spot on. Hold your freak flag high and feel the embrace of conservatives but watch out for the hate and retribution of the left. They don't cotton to differing opinions gracefully. At least that is my experience.

The comment about Thomas Jefferson was unwarranted. He freed his slaves, and concluded that slavery was morally wrong. He did this at a time when this was a very unpopular view. The very fact the Jefferson was included on this list makes me wonder about the factual accuracy of the rest of the diatribe.

People work harder when its in their self-interest. Slaves will only do the minimal amount of work expected of them were an employee will go beyond the minimal in order to get paid more.

My high school just got renamed from "Washington and Lee" to "Washington and Liberty." The change is costing millions of dollars and is utterly useless. They polled the students to see how many people actually got offended by the name and the poll said nearly no one.

At 5:16 he called them "progressive sensitivity enforcers" aka an SJW. Here you have why this whole video is wrong: a liberal is not an SJW, in fact, most real liberals despise SJW's. Saying all liberals are SJW's is like saying, that all conservatives are racists, while in both cases, there is a big difference.

Difference between modern liberal and classical liberal. Most modern liberals are SJWs. My college campus population confirms this easily.

I understand that the hyperbole is intended, what I don't appreciate is the blanket stigma on progressives. I am an ardent enemy of political correctness, but identify as a progressive.

Viewers might think all of this is tongue in cheek but it is actually happening in some places. I Washington state, the most populous county (around highly progressive Seattle) was named after William Rufus King, Vice President in the 1850's when Washington became a state. In 1985 the hard left county council decided to rename the county after Martin Luther King, retaining the King name but satisfying the PC move to do away with old white men as historical figures.

How ironic that this video would post on Presidents' Day - a holiday that few people even know was built to usurp Washington's Birthday for a meaningless 3 day weekend of holiday sales. the problem with slippery slope fallacy is that its only a fallacy that the next step will 100% be taken. Its undeniable that the taking a step up a ladder makes you that much closer to the next step. The problem is not only that there exist actual lunatics willing to take those steps (which lets face it, always do exist), BUT, WORSE, people are actually giving in to them due to fear of offending and a climate where their madness is being fostered by special interest groups exist.

Liberals once said the same about communism, and now you are trying to push it, despite to it always end up becoming tyrannical and crashes the economy in the county it was tried. Just having white skin is now considered racist (and people once said that is a slippery slope fallacy and won't happen, yet it did), if you don't support vile hatred and/or don't support the desire to murder them, you are considered Racist or a race traitor. If you say you want minorities to be treated the same as anyone else, that is considered a “dog whistle” which is not, you are basically saying minorities can't be intelligent enough to reach the same bars and requirements as any other person, and minorities who proves that mentality wrong you consideres “race traitors” and you treat them the way you accused your political enemies of doing, and blame them for holding them down, even it's you who are doing it and making them think it would be traitorous to their race and would be “acting white” if they take opportunities to get out of poverty, and when others do become rich and successful and tries to encourage others to do the same, they get attacked and called “race traitor” ”Uncle Toms or Aunt Jemimas” and even the c word, mostly by the white “guilt” liberals, I don't think they are white guilt, they just pretend to be allies, and use your mentalities as a tool to oppressed minorities and when gets a independent thought, they will socially whip them by calling them those awful words and turn others against them. I can't stand SJWs they claimed they are allies, but if a minority acts or think independently, the SJWs do the awful things above and shows the very Racism they claimed to be against, especially if the minorities do become rich and successful, because that doesn't fit their narratives, rhetorics and ideologies... I see them as the oppressors they are accusing their political enemies of being.

The most accurate part of this video, that applies to the entire human spectrum, is that miserable people make other people miserable. Since they are unhappy, instead of trying to improve their lives and make themselves happy, they would rather everyone else be miserable too. And that goes beyond political affiliation, religion, race, gender, Etc.

I'm only with PagerU about half the time but they hit the nail on the head this time. This was genius.

I've got this radical idea...... When someone tells you what you've said or done is offensive look them in the eye, and are you ready for this......say "So what?"

There is a better term to describe it: Oppression Olympics. And I thought there could not be a lamer sport than curling.
