Whether god exists or not is not an issue with me to basically, as I perceive it anyway, to waste time on. I know it sounds rude but I don’t mean it that way. I mean it’s irrelevant and unimportant to me but recognise it may be of primary importance to others. I know that I exist and I know that the world, including our lives does have a spiritual dimension. But regardless, of all that, I know the mental state I’m in and I seek transformation in my life. In my thinking and feeling within myself and my motivation towards performing actions to fulfill my dreams, aims, goals, desires. Both material and non-material. I feel stuck in a mire and need help out of it. Therefore what intention, sankalpa would I set during the sadhana or abhyasa? What do we say? If it’s to god, Brahman that’s ok too. I’m a pure Advaitist, so, how would I frame it? Any help would be valued. I’m not asking any god to prove its existence to me, but just need to get out of this dire state of mind that’s all.
