I don't feel or act like a warrior when I use the drug I detest myself I only feel and get this way when I get high worthless I know GOD loves me and is here for me but I don't understand why I'm still an addict I hate myself I'm I'm much pain inside and out I just want to live by faith in HIM always and not sin so vile I feel ashamed of myself before the good LORD JESUS CHRIST I pray and have prayed thousands of times I trust HIM but I'm must be doing something wrong because I haven't been set free for good from this and I'm in HIS HOLY WORD YESHUAH HAMASHIACK alot in the Bible almost everyday I'm thinking lately I'm not even saved and may e I've been deciving myself that HE Dave me when I was 21 I'm now 61 I'm thinking I'm lost somehow I have had the right kind of faith at all I don't know right now I'm confused and feel hopeless totally

I have recently (within the last 2 months) been going to church again after a long, regrettably falling away. I was asked if I knew or studied the Bible. I did not, but joined a Bible study group. It was such a great decision and I read everyday now. It has also changed my life and wanted to testify with you, how great God is, and rejoice with you! Stay focused on HIM. Do not let yourself be distracted. That is tough. But I pray that you will stay in The Word, and pray all the time! So you will never say that you fell away, like I had. Jesus told us that He would never leave us and never forsake us telling us to not fear and to be of good courage. It is hard sometimes, but if we keep those words in mind and read Psalms it helps to lift our spirits. God Bless you and yours always.

This is a good example of a prayer but it is better to make it suit you personally. When you are in the midst of an actual spiritual battle this is a bit too long to remember to rebuke the enemy. What would come out is actually what's in your heart rather than the mind. At times it would be a reflex reaction to protect yourself from the enemy. We must constantly rely on God and always be in an attitude of prayer. It is not by might nor by power but by the Spirit.

Absolutely... time is of the essence. Beginning to understand the importance and power of prayer 🙏 more and more. I thank God for never giving up on me. That his story, the love story of a God that loves us so much that he would give his son that we may have life through him. I remember when I held my 6 month old son in my arms and thought of God giving his son, i cried. I couldn't do it. Yet our lord and savor was given up to save a reach like me.
