I started a re-read of Cujo, but then 2 books I ordered came in, so I set it aside for now. I forgot about the one scene in Cujo where the mailman and that old lady had that shouting match? I laughed so hard, I'm still lmao when i think of it! 😂 Love your channel! 📚📚✌️

Thanks Angel! I love those types of absurdly funny interactions amongst the bleakness of the story 🤣 There's so many of those in King's books as well, I can think of at least a few in his The Dark Tower series if you've read those? I hope you enjoy the rest of your Cujo re-read!

@Shelf-Esteem yes, I have read the Dark tower series, love it! King does have quite a sense of humor at times lol.

Congratulations on the channel growth, it's fully deserved. I had a blast with our CUJO buddy read, that book hit me really hard, it was brutal.

Cujo hit me in the feels. I have several of Ken Follett’s books on my shelves and haven’t read any of them yet! One day. I’m starting Age of Madness soon and I’m SO EXCITED for it. I hope you enjoy Red Country. There was a reveal in that book that I was so here for. I’m so jealous hearing about the medieval architecture & beer 🍺

Thanks so much Alicia! :) I really appreciate that! A lot of people suggest starting Pillars of the Earth re: Ken Follett, though I started with the Century Trilogy and it's been a blast so far! I've also heard Eye of the Needle is a great standalone. SO excited for your Age Of Madness read, and can't wait to hear what you think about those books! I'm loving Red Country so far, and your comment made me extra excited to see that reveal haha :)

Great that you had some quality family time Nikhil! Cujo was a difficult book to get through, brilliant but oh so disturbing. I am a bit obsessed with WW2 so Winter of the World is intriguing. Have you ever watched Band Of Brothers, highly recommended. Congratulations on your channel growth, keep it up!

Thanks so much Cliff! I completely agree, Cujo was a BRUTAL book (and yet brilliant) to read. I also find WW2 to be fascinating to read about, and this book is definitely up there in terms of blending historical facts with a compelling story and charactes. I haven't watched Band Of Brothers yet actually! Linda (my wife) and I have been doing movie nights lately so will def suggest this one for this weeks' watch :)

This week i finally finished howling dark by Christopher ruoccichio i did enjoy it my fault by Mercedes ron i absolutely enjoyed it and worthy by jada pinkett Smith memoir i was intrigued i totally recommend her book

What a fantastic reading week!! How did you like Howling Dark?? One of my all-time fav sci-fi reads. Just wait till you get to Kingdoms of Death - some of the most moving stuff I've ever read in sci fi
