We probably have to become friends in real life. A deep and real friendship can take the ring all the way to Mt. Doom, no matter how small we are. Starting these things on the internet is inherently working against us. It can be over come, surely, but it is a huge hurdle that HAS to be overcome, if anything will grow from it.

Finally

I wish he had spent more time talking about his main point. From what I understand his thesis is something to the effect of: A threshold has been reached where a strong centralized government is a poor idea due to 1) The lack of homogeneity in the population and 2) The incompetence of the people who would run such a thing if it were to exist. I have many reasons why I disagree with this. But, the biggest one is he is still thinking like a modern-day person. Without an oligarchy, neither of these things would necessarily be a problem.

Worded differently -> He is falling into the "negative space" type of thinking trap. He wants to keep power out of the hands of people who already have all the power. By attempting to skirt a strong centralized government he does not avoid the power that a strong centralized government has.

@@fukayusugma2074 This is a nice essay, but I think Yarvin is more correct in his analysis. Reversing 100 years of history is going to be really hard, but taking away control is still possible. You just simply don't turn a USA that is minority White Europeans into 1955 America by enforcing libertarianism. That is an effort in retardation. Enforcing libertarianism in Brazil is another matter, that should probably be done, as spandrell says in this essay, but he's wrong about what should be done in the mainland.

re: the supine compliance of Western people during 2020-2022, I don't think it would go quite the same way if they tried to run that again. Maybe I'm naive, but I've met many people who felt deeply bitter about how they just went along with every arbitrary imposition during that campaign.
