Absolutely love seeing the second rack and how you go back and forth just like in a real game. Left side of the brain competing against the right side of the brain lol. I also like to see what shot you would go for. On the first rack you drew back the cue ball after pocketing the 7 in the side pocket. I thought for sure that you would take the natural angle and go 2 or 3 rails to get position on the 9 in the opposite corner pocket. Just goes to show what Simonez 860, new balls, new cue and presumably perfect condition tip can do for one's game! :)

I 100% agree with this comment. People need to learn in real life scenarios in stead of watching other channels/creators only post a perfect game or edited videos of their mistakes. We all know that at no matter what level of a player you are, you are going to make mistakes. It’s human nature. People need to see that it’s ok and how to calm themselves and readjust and then get back to making balls, defense and cue ball control. I feel like a lot of players don’t realize how very important basic fundamentals actually are. As in cue ball control, your stance, your feet position, the bridge you are most comfortable with, using chalk, not overthinking, not rushing your shot, staying down on your shot, that you need to do drills and get consistent with what drill you’re working on at the time because just practicing by playing a few games before a tournament helps you none because you can learn the table speed and rolls while running your drills. Sorry this is so long. Just trying to point out that your videos help a lot of people. Especially those like my son who just started playing a year ago and they way you do your videos has helped him tremendously. He is also Autistic. He is doing great and watches your videos a lot while practicing on our table at home. I have played for over 20 years and teach and coach him as well but he is a visual learner with his autism so watching videos and then practicing what he just watched has helped him so much and he has started winning a lot of tournaments in the last few months. Next month will be one year he has been playing. One year ago he didn’t know how to hold a cue stick correctly and now he is beating people who have been playing for years on top of years. Thank you for your videos and the help that they actually help players with.

I liked it! I really allows us to zoom in on your technique, pattern play, aiming, use of spin and execution, thought process, etc. Basically, everything! Would love to see more of this format.

Would love to see more POV playing like this! The visual helps me with some shots using spin to see how the cueball reacts.

That generally means you’re not happy in your own life or not playing like you think you do. Got a big head about your game but can’t execute when it comes to to clutch situations.

enjoyable and informative. As a rookie player, I find a video like this helps me see how the cue ball can be moved around the table. Before KZread, this eluded me. I'd see good players get shape on shot after shot, but it remained elusive to understand how they made it happen. Now it makes sense and I can practice at home.

It is great to see this from the shooter's perspective! It makes seeing the English put on the cue in relationship to getting shape on the next ball sooooo much clearer. You really helped me.

I absolutely agree with you. I’ve been playing for over 20 years and these are the things that I am trying to teach me my son, who is Autistic and has been playing about a year. I got him watching these these videos because he shows real game scenarios in his videos and has really helped my son. He is a visual learner and he watches these videos and then practices what he just watch on our table. One year ago he didn’t even know how to hold a cue stick and now he’s winning tournaments against the best around here and some road players and a couple of pros that come through town every now and then. I am so proud and in awe of how much he has learned and able to execute in just one year. He has even been going to different states with a friend that plays and plays in big roller tournaments. The last on in Oklahoma he came in 9th out of 394 players.

I love hearing the commentary as you are shooting, letting us into your thought processes as you are lining up your shot but also planning for the next one. I would actually like to see you lean even more into letting us hear your planning, so that you not only talk about your plans for the next ball, but also for the next shot or two after that, along with details on roughly where you’re trying to leave the cue ball after each shot to set yourself up for the next one. And seeing your safety play is also great! If you can’t make a good offensive shot or if you would be left with bad position once you made the current good shot, then a good defensive shot is the right call. I think the more we hear about your planning, and the more you let us see your mistakes and how you deal with them, the better!

I agree with this comment as every game should begin with identifying the key ball for the 8 ball if playing 8 ball and then working yourself backwards. So you likely have a "bigger vision" or plan once you start selecting your shots. So having your starting big picture plan would be most welcome.

Another excellent video. For a moment at the end I thought you might have gotten overly cocky calling the rack over before you sank the 9 ball and trying to talk and shoot but you pulled it off in the end. I like that you also showed us your misses. Makes you more human.

I have been told in all my years of playing, from several pro’s (men and women), that talking or singing along to music while playing helps you make your shots and helps your cue ball control because it keeps you from overthinking. I personally do this every match and found that it actually does work and improved my shooting. I’ve been playing for over 20 years.

Interesting. I have more luck with side pockets but find more troublesome long/distant shoots in corner pockets :D though i still suck in actual understanding how much i need to hit cue ball left or right, and in power requirements xD

Look at the stroke on the last 8-ball (7:30). Looks like you were lining up with right spin (I was wondering why) and then you shifted to the left at the last second. No big deal, but I guess I'm not the only one that does it. :-)

Yes indeed. I did this even more intensly before I started using the GoPro. Very often I was aiming center and on the last stroke I was adding the spin. It doesn't harm my game, but when using the GoPro it's very confusing for the viewer. So I am trying to completely remove it and initially aim to the right spot on the cue ball. However, very often I fall back into this habbit just like on the shot you mentioned.

Can you tell me where you got the extra makers down the side rails pls. Is it a standard measurement ? Tables outside of US don't use them unless it's a US table.

What shaft do you use? Just order my dad the 12.9mm revo for his bday and fathers day gift. Is that a good shaft? He doesn't really like skinny tips so i didnt wanna get him the 11.8mm nor was it available but the 12.4mm was available. I did upgrade it to a kamui medium tip. I hope i made a good choice 🙏... because i spent almost 800 dollars on the full cue so i aint returing it lol..
