Kept the horse in Australia she would have made it to 15 group ones.

Right decision to retire her. All the best in her next career as a mum. I won't say what I think about the way she's been handled in Europe because today is her day. Should have listened to Chris Waller

@@marklulham3148 I could have said more Mark but I didn't. The horse deserved better.

With her recent death and then watching her last race in London attended by the owner who didn’t listen to Chris waller’s advice about keeping her in Australia he should feel ashamed.

Verry Elleegant is lucky to have a caring owner like Brae Sokolski. Let's hope she can foal some Stakes and Group winners.

He didn’t care about her. Waller said not to take her. They did anyway, couldn’t resist the money

@@danieldownes1136 A couple of problems with your statement: 1) We don't know the exact cause of her death. The same thing may have happened anywhere. 2) It's not uncommon for horses to travel for breeding purposes. Therefore, taking her overseas to finish her racing career followed by her breeding career doesn't indicate a lack of care.

He was only doing it for himself and not the horse. Just greedy owner. Chris Waller said that the horse doesn't travel very well. It's a problem when owners think they can train. Let the horse rest..

You’ve got to remember that Australian horses have no stamina and their distance races are slow jogs with sprint finishes. Maybe she just didn’t stay the longer distances on the more testing tracks in Europe? Maybe they should have been running her over 1400-1600m in France? She had G1 wins at those distances in Sydney
