Look! Up in the sky! It's a plane! The Soviet Tupolev TU-2. I am of course very funny referring to it as the TU-TU HA HA HA... Not sorry.
I don't often build planes, so this is one of those fun little something a bit different builds. Because why not. I had it in my stash. Not a bad kit at all. It goes together quite nicely and without any real difficulty. You might prefer to not put parts in the wrong place though...
I'll certainly be builing more plane kits like this. Because I have at least one more in my stash.

The doodad on top of the cockpit looks like an ancient Roman trumpet. I like the idea of going into battle parping away.
The part on top of the cockpit is radio antenna, and the cone thingy, is the propeller boss

The slogan says "If you don't praise the glue god properly, comrade Stalin will come down from heaven" - yeah, never thought he would end up in heaven too. It must be a strange place - "and kicks your ass!" Another possible but unlikley meaning of the slogan could be "Moscow"...

Hmm. Moscow... I don't buy it. The first one is probably more accurate.
Not gonna rat you out on fucking up the machine guns for two reasons: A. They’re almost certainly the same gun as installed in the TuTu so Spock’s Law applies. 2. As an American I object to the very idea of gun police, even plastic model gun police. I like the general form of that plane. It doesn’t have the deliberate aggressive engineering of German planes of the era, or the “I’m pretending to be a kewl bird of prey” look of USA bombers. It kinda resembles the stodgy British bombers if anything. I’m just glad the French didn’t design large bombers. Guaranteed you couldn’t build a model of one without giggling.
